Comfortable, long enough (below the knee), and attractive. Well-fitting. Do wish it came in black.

I knew when buying this that it would be a unique style choice, and I was prepared for that. However, unfortunately, the gathers seem to happen in just the wrong places for me. It ends up being very unflattering as the largest part of my hips and belly are emphasized by the gathers in a bad way, such that it looks like the skirt is fit badly even when there's plenty of looseness in the skirt itself. If you are "hippy" at all, I would not go with this skirt. It's plenty comfortable, but it just looks odd when you're wearing it.

Once I hit plus sizes, I began avoiding skirts because they never seemed as flattering. But this caught my eye and I am so happy I ordered it! The blue version is a lovely ink/ocean color that works well with just about any color of shoe. The length on me, at 5'5 hits right below the knee. The skirt isn't full, but flares away just a bit and is oddly slimming. The waistband has taken a nod from maternity with its wide, soft flexible band that could, if you desired, be doubled or hiked up to adjust the length. I like this sort of waist but if you want a super cinched, fitted waist be warned. It's simply the most comfortable garment currently own and will likely be ordering the other available color. Thank you Zappos and XCVI for providing this collection for us bigger girls. Keep it up!

I bought this skirt about a year ago for a trip to Europe...it was great for traveling and I've enjoyed it lots since then! Every time I wear it, I get compliments! The style is so unique. The color (I got it in the blue) is not my very favorite and I have a hard time coordinating tops with it, so it is not the most diverse skirt. But I would certainly recommend it to a friend!
