These are very nice pants. The cut is wonderful, fabric is light, strong and stretchy, very comfortable to wear. I love them and they are versatile: depending on the kind of top you wear with them, they go from casual to artsy dressed. I could have ordered a size smaller though. But they have a string in the waist band so it is still OK. I will certainly get another pair in another color for a change.

Great piece sadly the sizing is off. I'm muscular and b/t and 8/10 in pants and so I decided to go with the large and they are huge. I thought they'd be OK and decided to wear them to work but they stretch out instantly. Go a size smaller.

These pants are awesome for summer and for travel. They are super comfy, yet stylish. Warning: they run big. The XS is not XS at all. Thanks to other reviewers' warnings, I purchased an XS, even though I usually wear size 4. The XS fits.

I have become fond of XCVI since early 2009, and own over dozen of pants, skirts and shirts. This my favorite of all. It is stylish, comfortable and fun. Goes with almost any colors, and can dress up or down.

The fabric is great, light and comfortable. The style is fun. The sizes are way off. Go one or two sizes smaller than you generally wear though, this company seems to be inconsistent in sizes, because sometimes they fit.

Love, love, love these! They are so cute and flattering! I usually wear a 6 or 8, and the small fits great. I think these look adorable with flip flops, ballet flats, heels, and wedges. A must have.

Thank you for the larger sizing. These are one of my favorite pairs of pants, and XCVI is my favorite brand of clothes. I wear a size 18, and I find that these clothes are casual, yet classic and versatile (can be dressed up), and that they just plain fit well. These pants are super flattering, and I've worn them to work and out on the town. The waist isn't elastic, but there is a tie where you can make the waist smaller. They do stretch a bit when you wear them. I got an XL, which fits me great. An XL in many brands is way, way too small -- so these run big, but I'm glad they run big. I'm 5'4" and they come down just a bit above my ankles, which is also nice. They're extremely light-weight, good for summer. I'm so happy they are now in Black...have been waiting to buy them. Anyhow, wore these all summer, would definitely recommend these pants and XCVI. I'm overweight (especially in my belly), but I also still enjoy looking nice in good clothes that make me feel confident, and XCVI seems to be able to make clothing that looks good on any size person. They are back! I bought these years ago at a department store and wore them till they were in shreds. They're so flattering if you have a pear shaped figure and are so comfortable. I am buying all three pairs and will probably buy more in black later in case they go on hiatus for 10 years again! Thank you XCVI.

I liked these, but I kinda sit on the fence, so for the price, pricey, decided no. The cotton is so thin, that I feel it will pop, break after several washes. They are not rayon as advertised. Also, they are lovely in style, but I don't think this is necessarily a classic look, always in, perhaps trendy, or unique. And, I am not sure if this is what I am going for. But I do like them, lovely styling, details, and great to cover legs from the sun, but so light, that I don't think you would be hot at all. Just not sure if for me. Loved the grey color, beautiful.

To say I love this brand is a understatement. I have over 20 pairs hanging in my closet. They are so versatile, you can dress them up or down and they are so comfortable with the drawstring waist. The green slate is a nice color that can transition well through the seasons. Thank you Zappos for your great service!
