Wrightsock Running Quarter Double Layer 6-Pair Pack SKU: #7151725
Product Information:
View the Video Description for this product! (Please note that the color shown in the video may no longer be available.)- The RUNNING sock was the first Double Layer product in the WRIGHTSOCK line.
- It is highly recommended by many marathon runners and triathletes that demand a sock to help prevent blistering under extreme situations! This sock does just that.
- The construction of lightweight CoolMax does not compromise the fit of the shoe while still allowing two layers of material to absorb the friction with the slight movement between the layers.
- Feet stay dry as the CoolMax wicks the moisture away from the foot and into the outer layer for evaporation.
- Inner Layer: 70% CoolMax®, 30 % Nylon.
- Outer Layer: 68% CoolMax®, 28% Nylon, 4% Lycra®.
- Sold as a 6-pack.

No more blisters! :o) I started running 3 miles 3 times a week, but I soon found myself with painful blisters on the inner-arches of my foot. I researched online and Wright socks came recommended. They are a life saver. They're a little pricey but no more blisters... yay! I normally wear a women's size 7 and bought the socks in M, which fit well.

Great socks at a great price - I love Wrightsocks. I use their double layer hiking socks and these double-layer running socks. I have never had blisters or even hot spots with these socks. Some people may find the seem on the top of the toe annoying if they are used to really expensive seamless socks, but they have never given me any trouble.
Brands I'd also recommend: Wirghtsock Merino Wool hiking sock

Ideal socks - I run and walk approximately 30 miles per week. These socks do exactly what they say they do. I have two crooked toes and get blisters on them if I do not wear these socks. I get blisters on my other toes or places on my feet if I do not use these socks. They feel fantastic on my feet. I highly recommend. Zappos has the best prices out of all the catalog and online sites that sell them.

No blisters for me! I love my Wright Socks. They're double-layered so they prevent blisters. I walk a lot all day and when I go to the gym several times a week I do 3 miles on the elliptical and then do weight training so I appreciate a sock that keeps up with me. They last forever too, so they're well worth the price. Seriously -- my last set of Wrights are over 5 years old and I wore them every day and they just recently got thin. I like the black socks (although they come in many different colors) because I wear black walking shoes all day. I do have some white Wrights to wear with my white walking shoes too. I wouldn't wear any other kind of sock!
Brands I'd also recommend: no other sock will do, I'm a Wright girl!

Nice socks - I like the socks and they do seem to run true to size. There is a slight problem with the double layered construction. If you don't get them just right, one of the layers tends to bunch up under your foot. Not a major problem if you line them up carefully before you put them on.

Not too exciting - I guess I had too high expectations for this sock. Used them for about 3-4 hrs a session for tennis, and while they seemed just 'OK', I was disappointed that even with the claim of 'double layer' they were still just about as thick/comfortable as any other tennis sock I have used. The material is super thin, so it is not as if you gain any extra padding thru 'double layering'. Also, the two layers make it a little difficult getting them on your feet, inasmuch as they are not completely sewn together, and the inner and outer layer shift around as you try to pull them on.

These socks are great for blister prevention! These may be called running socks, but you don't have to be a runner to get the benefits. I got blisters during training for a half marathon last year. I'm doing the same training now and I have had no issues with blisters, due in great part to these socks. I bought one pair last year and have worn them many, many times. Until they are washed & worn a few times, you really do need to pay special attention to making sure the socks are smooth on all parts of your foot with no wrinkled fabric. Once they are well broken in this is not an issue.

They shrink! Buy a size larger than usual. Mine shrank (even in cold water wash) and now I can't wear them. Be forewarned!!!!!!

A time-tested favorite - I've worn Wrightsock running socks (quarter double layer Coolmax)for about 15 years and love them. Even though I'm not able to run anymore because of a medical condition, I still wear these socks all the time. They're so comfortable any time of year and in any shoe or boot I have. They are really durable (some of the ones I still wear are at least 5 years old). I've also tried the Wrightsock Lite quarter double layer, and they're OK, but the ankle cuff doesn't retain its elasticity and fit as well as the original Running version, and they wear through the outer layer more quickly (as would be expected with a lighter weight sock).

Almost perfect socks - I first bought these socks in a shoe store at the recommendation of the staff to wear with my walking shoes (I am not a runner). I have been very satisfied with them overall. They are comfortable and wear well. I solve the problem of the inner layer bunching by putting my hand inside and smoothing them out before putting them on my feet and that works just fine. You are not supposed to bleach them or use fabric softener, but I broke the softener rule and haven't noticed any problems. As other reviewers have said the soles get a bit dingy. I may also break the bleach rule at some point but the socks are pricey and I don't want to ruin them. Who sees the soles of your feet anyway?
Brands I'd also recommend: Thor-Lo socks if your shoes are a half size larger

Wrightsock’s are terrific for diabetic feet - I am a diabetic and have been looking for a sock that keeps my feet dry, does not have an irritating seam above the toes, is comfortable, and still looks nice. I found it all in the Wrightsock double layer sock. I love them and am wearing them right now. They are the first ones I reach for when I go to my sock drawer, and am panic stricken when they are all in the wash. I found them accidentally at a sporting goods shop while on vacation and thought I'd try them, even though they are more expensive than I usually pay. I used them a couple of times, then went to the internet to find them, and ordered a bunch. They are absolutely exactly what I wanted and am happy to pay the price. They should really be advertised as the end of foot woes for diabetics. Thanks!!!

Great Socks! I recently wore these socks for the Breast Cancer 3-Day and walked 60 miles without a single blister. You can smooth them out by placing your hand inside, and then just adjust as needed once they are on. Also, they don't shrink so make sure you order the right size.

running socks - I train for marathons and these are great; far better than double-layering socks. My feet are always cold so I wear them around the house too :)
