These are great boots. They are really, really comfortable. It took me one long walk to break them in, and they feel almost like slippers. They are nice and warm, but let out enough moisture so I don\'t get swamp foot. \r\n\r\nThe only gripe I have is that the zipper doesn\'t come down low enough to make them really easy to slip off. I end up either having to unlace the top, or rip them off. Maybe this will become easier as the upper softens up but for now it\'s a bit of a pain.

The selection for womens boots is poor to say the least. Found these mens WORX by accident, and to date have purchased at least 3 pairs and probably will buy another. The toe box is big and overall a very comfortable boot, even after 10 hours! Although I would like to see them in black too.

I bought these shoes because I wanted a better quality shoe. The other brands I was purchasing took its toll on my feet. I had to have custom made insoles made ($60) to help ease the pain and problems I had with my feet from walking on concrete for 10 years while on the job. When I bought these I expected to eventually have to put insoles in these as well. After a couple of weeks or so I noticed the aches and pain in my feet have significantly decreased. More than my insoles ever did. Today I don't experience any pain or problems in my feet and still walk on concrete every day for my job. Unbelievable! I will only be buying this brand of work shoes from now on. If you have aches and pain in your feet, I suggest you give these a shot.

My review is rave! Ordered some work boots for my son and we needed to request an exchange because of sizing. Zappos could not have been friendlier, enthusiastic about their service, or more efficient in getting the shoes to him and making the exchange. This was my first order and I was truly amazed!

I like this shoe. The color and style is great. The only issue I have is the width of the toe area of the shoe. My soft foot toes do not like the hard toe of a safety shoe as a rule. And, although they did not like the hard toe of this shoe at first, my toes are happier now after I have been wearing this shoe for a couple of weeks. If the shoe toe was made 5 mm wider, I would have given both the comfort and overall ratings five stars.

My husband really likes his work shoes I purchased him for his birthday. I was unaware they were steel toed when I ordered them because he is not fond of steel toes. But he said this particular style did not bother him at all. I know now where to buy his work boots from here on out.

Ouch! These boots are lined with a cloth material that wants to grab on to and hold on to your socks. By the time you wiggle your foot in, you've given yourself a Class A toe wedgie! If I could find any other lug soled boot in 4E+ on the internet, these would be on their way back to Zappos. But this is the only boot I can find, so I have to man up to the pain they inflict. Marketed as a bargain brand. I don't consider this a bargain brand price. On the plus, they look good and as I said, there are no alternatives that I can find for those of us with ultra wide feet.

The work shoe from Red Wing is a quality boot. It holds up well and is comfortable from the start. I bought a pair for my 13 year old son and he wears them hard. I have had no complaints from him on the fit, and there holding up to true wear. The best part as some times the fit is not just right, each boot has its own feel to it. I had just ordered another boot from Zappos and it was the wrong size, didn't feel good. One call and I had a coupon to UPS it back to Zappos, no questions asked. The prices are good and their service is great.

I had these shoes (but in white) for 4 years, and absolutely loved them! I went back to the store where I had purchased them to buy another pair since the ones I had finally wore out, but to my disappointment they no longer make them in white. I don't like them in black so I didn't buy another pair. But if they come out in white again I will surely buy me another pair, or maybe even 2 just in case. I wore these shoes 6 to 7 days a week, in coolant, hydraulic oil, and water, and never slipped. I also have to walk on concrete all day, very comfy! Thank you.

I'll be returning a just received pair tomorrow. The quality is fine, the style I like; only some moron specified a steel toe that adds significantly to the weight and makes the shoes stiffer, hotter and less comfortable.What were these people thinking. Steel toe? Yeah right, how many of you out there have a closet of steel toe shoes that you are happy with and thus want more.

These boots are durable and comfortable. They hold up to the temperatures that I need for my line of work and are very comfortable in the process. Three quarters of a day I wear my work boots as opposed to any other shoe or boot. I recommend these and would buy another pair if I needed to.

These boots are great! Even better than I thought they would be! I love the zipper on the side, makes getting on and off a whole lot easier. The steel toe comes in handy and they polish up very nice. They work great for the fire service!

I have had to wear safety shoes/boots for over thirty years. I have problems with my feet and safety shoes/boots have always given me more problems than a regular shoe. This shoe has been the most comfortable safety shoe that I have ever worn. They are very easy to break in and I can actually make it through a twelve hour day in these shoes. This is the second pair that I have purchased. I will continue to buy these shoes as long as they are available.

I bought these boots for my job as a correctional officer and I am very pleased. They are comfortable, light and quiet, so quiet to the point of walking with a normal stride with no noise. I have actually inadvertently snuck up on many inmates. Well worth the money and do recommend them to anyone who asks.

I bought these boots for my husband, who needed something to wear for working outside in the yard. We have a big yard with some steep slopes, and the boots needed to have aggressive soles. His other boots were hurting the balls of his feet, and often would irritate his ankle bone. These come in wide, which it turned out was just what he needed. He said they were very comfortable from the moment he put them on, and has worn them for many hours outside at this point, still with rave reviews! The materials and workmanship are high quality. Also, he was worried they\'d be too hot because of the thinsulate, but that hasn\'t been a problem, even this past week with temps in the 90\'s.

Where's the Arch Support? After reading all the reviews, I grabbed a pair of these. There is no arch support, and hardly any meat on the bottom of this shoe. It doesn't stand up to Red Wing Quality. Looks great, though!

These boots are a tad heavier than Timberlands in my opinion. The extra protective foot guard makes any additional weight tolerable and doesn't impede mobility. I would recommend these to anyone as work boots. My wife says they are really ugly though!

I love this shoe. I work at UPS in the hub/operations; therefore, I'm walking on concrete or standing on steel grates constantly and so far my feet don't ache like they did in my more expensive shoes that these replaced. These are very comfortable even with the steel toes (a rarity). They breathe well, and due to their color they hide marks well. Once these are worn out I'd have no problem buying another pair!

I bought these shoes for my husband for work. They ran true to size and he says that they are SUPER comfortable. The shipping was quick and the product was exactly as pictured. All in all, our experience was amazing and he LOVES his shoes.
