They are very snug and comfortable. They are also very light so you can run really fast in them. They are also easy to tie and they look really, really awesome.

These are great skater shoes! They look great and my 2nd grader loves them! They are comfortable for a kid with a wider foot. I will say that although the color is described as a dark brown, they aren't. These shoes are a caramel brown. I would definitely recommend these!

My son has wide feet and insists on “skater shoes”, because, "All the kids wear them, Mom!"... We've come to realize that most of the “skater” styles/brands are too narrow. World Industries seem to fit the best. And we are able to find a great selection here on Zappos.com. We've bought several different styles as well as the Adidas Hyperrun (in wide width) for PE class. Zappos.com has been awesome! If the shoes don't fit or if he outgrows them before he wears them (I buy more than one pair when I find a style he likes) - they accept the return or do an exchange - no questions asked! Ever since finding Zappos, I don't even bother running around locally from store to store having him try on shoes - I just turn on my computer! It's so easy! Thank you ZAPPOS.com!!

Love these sneaks! My son loves these sneaks. They look cool, he loves how they fit, and I, as a Mom, love that they last. As for another reviewer complaining about the sharp piece in the heel cutting into her son's foot...that happens when kids don't untie the laces and always slip the shoes on and off. Now that I make sure my son put's his shoes on and takes them off properly we don't have this problem. He ruined one pair of sneaks this way, now we know better. It was the kid, not the shoe.

I was very impressed with everything about Zappos. The shoes I ordered were for my son, he said they fit good and really liked them. I was also pleased with service.

So Disappointed! I ordered these shoes at the end of August 2008 for my 8 year old son based on the reviews they had received. He was very excited about how they looked. They arrived quickly, as usual with Zappos, however within THREE months of normal wear; one of the shoes is totally unusable. The inside area of the shoe where the back of his foot sits against has lost its padding and fabric covering and the sharp edge of the plastic molding is exposed. I have no doubt it would cut the skin on the back of his foot if the shoe was worn in this condition. We are both disappointed greatly in this shoe -- my son because he loved the cool graphics on them -- me because of the money I spent on them. :-( I would have given a lower score is I could have. I don't think I'll be trying this brand again.

These shoes look great. My son loves them. However, I am VERY disappointed with them. I purchased these shoes in the middle of August and they are already worn out. That is LESS than 2 months! He doesn't even wear them every day! Poor quality!

Cool enough for Sam, so-so for Mom - I have a 7 (going on 14) year old boy who wants to look cool like the older boys in school. These shoes seem to fit the bill. As a Mom, though, I don't feel they are very supportive. They slip off his heel and the sole is totally flat. I guess that's what boarding shoes are all about-the flat bottoms. Call me square, but these shoes aren't very practical for an athletic kid like mine.

Son loves them!! My 9.5 year old son loves these sneaks. There hip and have cool graphics. He also tells me that they are comfortable which is most important and he really liked the brown vs. black.

WIKC skater shoe - Nice looking shoe, my son is pleased with them. Had I looked closer at them online I would have notice the devil like horns at the top of the "W", this doesn't impress me, but he doesn't seem to notice this as I do. I will take a closer look the next time...I am not a big advocate of the devils horns.
