Woodlore Combination Shoe Tree for Men - Trees seem well made. Only problem was determing the correct size for my shoe size (9 to 9.5). I chose the larger size, and it's squeezed rather tight when it goes in. Width was fine.

Combination Shoe Trees - These Woodlore's combination shoe trees are great up here in the north east. The winter months are far to wet and can damage shoes quickly. The woodedn shoe trees work very well to keeping my shoe shape and the natural drying process. I only wish they compressed a a bit smaller. My shoes are a 6.5 so they do not have much play at all when it comes to removal.

My Old Boots Fit Again! I bought ONE pair of shoe trees as an experiment. My old size 9.5 boots were still in perfect condition, but my feet were smaller when I first purchased them, 20 yrs ago. Now I'm generally a size 10.5-11. I installed the trees, cleaned the boots with a little glycerine saddle soap and the next day I was once again able to wear them! I've since then ordered a second pair of shoe trees and I'm about to order a third. Zappos service is incredible! Thanks Zappos!

As Shoe Trees Go - I am very impressed with Woodlore's Combination Shoe Trees for men. They are well constructed. The wood is all cedar heart. They are easy to install in shoes and provide protection of the leather as well maintaining the shape. I have used other trees in the past, but these are the best I've ever used. If I have the need for another shoe tree, I'll buy another set of the Woodlore.

Bought these for hubbie because he was having problems with moisture in his daily work dress shoes. He's been using these for 3 weeks now and he's happy with the results. The problem isn't completely gone but this product has helped with the moisture and odor. The product is well made and easy to slip in and out of shoes.

Good Product - These are great. I have big feet and it's hard finding shoe trees in local stores that are actually big enough to do the job in my shoes. These fit great and are well constructed. A little stiff at first, but they'll loosen up as you use them more.

First pair BUT NOT MY LAST - These are the first Shoe Trees I have ever owned. I bought a new pair of dress shoes from Zappos, and decided to try the show trees. They are well built, attractive, and the cedar [odor eating] wood is fabulous. I plan to buy another pair of shoe trees with my next dress shoes! These shoe trees are fine. I like the smell. I bought a pair of RSVP shoes that smelled kinda funny and the trees took the smell out. These are also great for stretching pointy shoes out a bit. Only thing I wish is that the handle were a little bigger to remove the trees in and out of your shoes a little easier.

When purchasing these types of items, it's important to buy the right size to match your foot size. To use, hold the tree and gently pull the toe area open a bit. Insert the foot-shaped form into the shoe and press the heel area of the tree into the shoe...the tree has a spring-form mechanism that allows for a custom fit. Because the tree is made of solid cedar, it will not only impart a pleasant cedarwood aroma to your shoes but it will absorb any perspiration or moisture from wear. I use mine every time I store my shoes and it definitely shows...some of my years-old shoes still look like new. The trees are also nice when cleaning or polishing shoe leather and it's much easier to handle those types of tasks when foot-forms are inside the shoes.
