These are great looking boots. I usually wear a 9 in shoes, but had to get an 8 in these boots. That's pretty common for boots. They're a little stiff when you first get them, but after wearing them a few times, they loosen up.

My husband loves his boots. He bought his usual size and width, and there was no "break-in" period before the boots were comfortable. He does not like the snug fit some prefer in boots, so you may want to go down a half-size to get that, as one typically does with boots.

I had worn Red Wings several years ago, but when I was shopping for new boots recently, I found that the price had nearly doubled. I decided to try these and was amazed! I have never had boots that were so comfortable. My feet, back and legs don't hurt anymore! Great value!

It is a fight to get these boots on and off. Thin socks that are smooth make it possible. They fit good, but I should have the next size to let me use a decent pair of socks. Made in China-what a shame. Good quality and price.
