I wear an 8.5 in US shoes and a 39 in European sizes. Usually, a 40 is too roomy for me, so when I ordered this boot, I decided to trust my instincts with European sizing and just go with a size 39. In terms of length, the boots fit well. But they are very snug around the foot, fitting so tightly around the ankle that they actually bruised my left ankle after I spent a day walking in them! So I'm undecided about whether the 40 would have been a better choice. The arch support is great, though! I like the way that the boots look with skirts and hope that they stretch so that I am a bit more comfortable.

These are very comfortable and stylish boots, that are great with denim, work, and dressy outfits. They are very versatile, but the comfort is most importent and these boots are good on that point. I have slightly wide feet, and these are comfortable for me.

Beautiful boot, well-constructed. Not much padding in the footbed. Would not zip closed due to my high instep.

I think these are adorable and seem fairly comfortable for walking. Unfortunately, I ordered a 41, which they said is a 9.5 to 10. I usually wear a 9.5 and sometimes a 10, so I figured it would be about right, but they were just a bit too tight in one foot. I would say that the 41 was a 9.5 and not a 10. They seem to run a little narrow as well. I probably could have gotten away with it if I wore thin socks and broke them in, but this is a winter boot, so I sent them back and ordered a size up. I'm figuring I can always use a cushion insole if they are a touch too big. Can't wait to get them!

Love the style. Yes, they are comfortable but still I need to put a cushy insert to make them more walkable on NYC streets which is why I bought them. I wanted a stylish shoe I could actually walk in the city where I live. The sizing is weird. I am a five & the company suggests going a full size up which I did to the European size 37 which was weird for me. I still find my foot slides down a bit. Wonder if that was too big. Am still working with them, insoles, etc.
