These are beautiful, high quality booties but the front of the bootie like some other European styles I've tried on this fall has a laid-back look which accentuates the length of the foot, and these shoes look like part of a costume: street urchin? I don't like soft leather that can be pleated at the top when putting the shoe on. Also the leather is so soft, my feet feel like they don't have enough support or protection. I want more of a clean MOD look with ankle pants and can't overcome the styling issues. Bummer.

I bought these shoes (boots) hoping they would be as comfortable as Wolky sandals I bought some years ago. Right out of the box, they were magnificent: perfect arch support, perfect last, and the leather was soft like a baby's you know what! I've been wearing these shoes non-stop with jeans and with slacks at a recent professional conference -- desperately needing comfort and good support. Thank you Wolky and thank you Zappos. You're both the greatest!

Really "sharp" design. Cafe' color leather is luscious. Soft folds are the tongue of the boot Looks good with leggings and a skirt as well as with pants. The fit is very comfortable - hugs but not tight- with a decent arch. For my foot it's probably not quite enough cushioning for a walk of more than a mile so I'll save my less artistic boots for distance and dirt. They're a timeless beauty and crafting. I got two pair.

For casual times I generally wear a Birkenstock clog in the winter. I needed a "real" shoe that would make and keep my temperamental feet happy. This shoe is perfect. Buttery soft leather, excellent support and I can wear them all day with nary an ache or pain. If all Wolky footwear are like this, I'm sold.

Excellent quality leather & styling with really good support while being lightweight. Very well made. Plenty of room to fit my own orthotics. Love the soft "ruffle" effect around the ankle.

These are stylish, attractive and well made. They are, however, a little narrow for my bunions. Also, the pleats around the ankles dig into my skinny ankles. After wearing them around the house for a few hours I couldn't deny that keeping the shoes would be an act of beauty before pain, so they are going back. Darn.
