These are really nice boots. My feet are fairly normal, wearing a size 8.5M, with a slightly high instep. They are wide at the toes which makes for a comfy fit. I am returning them because I bought a pair of Riekers that are a slate color and will go well with brown or black pants. I don't feel like I need strictly brown boots.
I'd also recommend: Naturlizer, Reiker

I wrote the March 29, 2013 review about the defective left boot. I have since returned the boots and re-ordered another size 8.5. As always, Zappos has fast service. The new ones have arrived and there are no problems with this new pair. I'm keeping them! I love the color and the style!

These boots are beautiful. However, the right one felt a little small (sometimes my toe would hit the top) and the left one was defective. The sole insert was not flush against the sole and it felt like my sock was scrunched up under my arch. I am returning them. I may order a different size 8.5 to see if it is not defective.

The shoe looked great on, however the size I normally wear did not fit, and I must return them.
