The shoe looked great! You can tell it was well built and would last a long time. They could easily be worn with jeans or dress slacks. The leather was very stiff and the insole lacked cushion. I attempted to break them in and wore them for 3 days with good mid weight wool socks. After the third day, I was looking for padded inserts and had a blister on my right foot. Unfortunately, I was not willing to sacrifice the comfort aspect on the front end for what I feel would have been a great shoe in the long run.
I'd also recommend: Mephisto and Timberland boot are my favorites
