I bought these shoes last winter and wore them to Washington, DC for a week- long trip. They kept my feet dry, warm and comfortable in the snow and ice. They were dressy enough for dinners out and comfy enough for sightseeing. These are ideal travel shoes.

This shoe felt comfortable on the bottom but the top pf the shoe is a definite V pattern so the edges are it cut into the top of my feet. It needs to be more curved in the opening of the shoe. Shame because otherwise it would have been great. I wear a 6.5 and prdered the 38 and it was true to size.
Brands I'd also recommend: clarks privo, merrell, mephisto

I wore these right out of the box while singing in a concert. They were comfy and supportive. I love these and may need to buy them in silver/grey as well.

I was not sure if the design would work for my high instep but that was fine. It is low enough and the suede stretches. The problem is that my toes hit the top of the shoe (not the front). That did not seem like that would resolve itself with wear. Too bad because the sole is exceptionally comfortable and supportive. They are really cute on. Sadly, I had to return them.

I love them, want a pair in every colour. Read a review that said they were comfortable right out of the box, for whole day of walking followed by dining out. That has been my experience too: a serious test in NYC incl art museums, miles of walking, then still felt classy when at dinner in restaurant.

Bought these shoes for a trip to Europe in the winter. Very comfortable immediately. As others have noted, you can walk all day in these, then wear them out to dinner. Stylish, supportive, a great shoe. The anthracite color is a nice change from plain black and works well for spring and summer. I've just received my second pair, for more travel!
