The Best Socks Ever - After suffering and more or less recovering from a serious heel injury, I have become a sock and shoe nut and I have purchased far too many of both. My search for the perfect sock has ended with the purchase of the Ultimax Triathlete Ultra-Lite. Wow, what a great sock. My feet do not sweat, they feel great and they are perfect to wear with great shoes of any type. I bought them in black so I can wear them to work and play. Hard to find thin socks that are 1/4 crew like the Wigwam Ultra-Lite. Most are the "low' cut which do not work for me. I called the Zappos help line and Theresa recommended them to me and I will be forever grateful.

Brands I'd also recommend: Montrail Continental Divide Trail Shoe has a snug heel and wide toe box.

Nice socks... I don't care for cushioned socks. They take up too much room in my shoes and they make my feet feel hot. That's why I was interested in these. They are thin, light, comfortable, and cool. I highly recommend them for anyone who feels the way I do about thick socks. These socks definitely fit the bill for me. And how could I end a review without raving about Zappos super service, the best there is. Great company, great products. What more could anyone ask for?

Excellent - This is my favorite running sock. I have tried several brands and I always ended with Ultimax Ultra. I wear it to my workouts and also races. The material and lightness of Ulitmax Ultra provide excellent support. I have been wearing this brand for more than 3 years now. Love it.

The perfect ultra lite and short sock - Kudos to Zappos, as always. I wanted a very light, black, short sock - enough coverage so no skin showed with a pantsuit, but short enough to be cool. This sock has turned out to be perfect for me for both work and exercise and it comes in black - the color de rigueur where I live. Thanks Zappos.

These are great socks! They are thin, but very strong and last a long, long time. They are great for running because of their ability to wick moisture away from hardworking, sweaty feet. I also use them for everyday casual wear and for working around the house doing yard work and home projects. I recommend having a few pairs in both black and white.

Probably the lightest and coolest athletic socks I\'ve ever worn. I use them for the gym, running, and also cycling. They dry quickly and hold up in the wash, unlike other expensive brands. I would highly recommend these socks.
