Great fit for size 6.5-7 foot. Roomy and thick in the grey area. Ankle stays up but isn't tight. Very comfortable in cowboy boots and bumming around the house.

At first I thought, why the heck am I buying such expensive socks? Then I received them and noticed the quality and realized why I was buying socks at this price. These socks are very comfortable and breathe great! It is nice not having feet which look like prunes after an outing and they wear well in the office.

I bought two pair, wore them constantly, and they lasted for 6 years. They were used everywhere from rafting/hiking in the Grand Canyon to mowing the grass. These socks are extremely breathable, and comfortable. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Wigwam’s Ultimax Mid Hiker - This is a great sock. The fit is perfect and my feet are always comfortable and warm. I have only used them during the cold winter months, so I'm not sure how they will perform in the summer months. Highly recommend.

Worth every penny! About 1 1/2 years ago I bought a pair of socks in a local bike shop. They cost $12.00. I'd never bought a pair of socks at a price like that, but they were the best quality and most comfortable socks I had ever owned. I wear that pair often and they are still in fantastic shape. These are not your typical department store or discount store socks. I could never find those same socks again until browsing Zappos and I found them! I love these socks. They will last a very long time! I wish they came in dark brown in the XL size.

Wigwam Ultimax Cool-Lite Mid Hiker - I was in a mall in Tulsa wearing uncomfortable sandals that were making me miserable. I ducked into an athletic shoe store and, in desperation, bought a pair of Merrell athletic shoes. Needing a pair of socks to go with them, I asked the manager for his recommendation. He recommended this sock. I have to agree with him...the sock is well-made, very comfortable, and doesn't ride down in the heel area like other socks do, ending up bunched up under your heel. When I have serious walking to do (power shopping or fitness walking), I will only wear these socks. They're not the greatest to look at -- why can't they just make the same exact sock in all white and all black? -- but my feet are important enough to me that I don't care much what they look like. I really love these socks!

Great socks - have a moderate cushioning without any bulk. First time I wore them, I hiked nearly 50 miles in Glacier NP - no bunching or rubbing at all. My feet were warm enough, but I did not experience excessive sweating.
