White Mountain Reviews
Great shoe. I am ordering a second pair as I write. Bought my first pair early summer and despite frequent use they still looke great. I wear orthotics and am going to adjust 1/2 up to accomodate.
I normally wear a size 8 but got a size 7 and they fit perfectly! I think they are adorable and look great with tights as well as thick socks!
I love the style and color (charcoal) of this boot. I don't find it comfortable because of the short footbed and minimal padding on the bottom. I work on a hard surface all day and stand a lot. If you have larger calves this boot may not fit. I am average, and it fits fine in that area. I am not sure If I should have ordered a half size up, but because the bottom is not very padded I will be sending them back. If you don't have sensitive feet, buy this really cute boot.
These are gorgeous, comfortable, and perfect! They have a nice, close fit to the calves, the heel is just the right height for both style and comfort. They're an excellent replacement for previous, similar boots that were eaten by my dog. I didn't notice any real arch support but don't really miss it here, either.
Love these boots! As with all of the White Mountain boots I have bought, these are very comfortable (especially considering the 3inch heel). The suede is nice and the buckle details are great but not overwhelming. They feel about 1/4 size large, which is great because I like to wean a boot sock with my boots. I wore them all day yesterday without fatigue.
These are very cute and comfy. It runs a little bit large, and the calf is a little big on me, but I'm keeping it anyway, it's a good value, and I'll get a lot of use out of it this winter.
White Mountain is an excellent shoe brand. I find my new shoes very comfortable for the style of shoe and really easy to wear. The shoe is very tight around my entire foot but is done in a very comfortable way. Not a super warm shoe, though the soles are thick and protect foot from heat loss there.
I've only worn these boots to work 2 or 3 times now and I've received compliments every time. They are super cute! I love everything about them: the heel height, the fact that you can fold the faux fur over the boot OR zip the whole thing up for added warmth, the buckles, and the round toe - everything! Only thing is I DID pay to have them resoled with a new rubber heel because the cheap plastic heel was slippery and probably would have worn down quickly. And the sole wasn't very shock absorbent, but it was worth it! I wouldn't wear them if you're going to be on your feet for a while, but they're comfortable enough to walk a decent stretch without trouble. I definitely recommend them!
I really wanted to keep these boots, because they fit well, but they don't look nice on my legs. I have wide calves and the sides of the boot (right above the ankles) has a beautiful ruching that makes my legs look thicker. Otherwise, the boots are so cute...soft, perfect fit, color and design. I couldn't justify keeping them though. Sad.
Love these boots. So cute and comfortable. I get tons of compliments on them too.
I like these shoes a lot! They are very similar to the more expensive Sperry's but cheaper. The inside plaid design did tear quickly but the rest of the shoe has held up well.
I ordered these in a 9.5 (my normal shoe size), and they fit. The circumference of the boot is 16 inches (just like it says it is for a size 8). I've worn them exclusively for a week and didn't get sore feet or blisters (and I've had plantar fasciitis in the past). They aren't very stiff, so if your calf is much smaller than the boot you may need pants shoved in them to hold them up. But overall, they are totally cute and very good quality, and I haven't regretted buying them. They are warm, I've dribbled a few liquids on them (oops), and I've walked through snow so far, and they did fabulously.
This is a great looking boot, and comfortable! Being vegetarian, I like that it's a synthetic leather material. I'm able to wear my orthotic inside, which is helpful. I think it runs a bit narrow, which works for my foot. I have both a brown and black pair. Easy to wipe clean.
These are very cool looking boots with nice detailing. I would not have guessed they were leather if I had not read the description; they have a very shiny synthetic finish to them, although the material is very soft and pliable. I have owned and loved White Mountain boots before, but these were a bit narrow in the toe and pinched, so wider feet will definitely have a problem. Otherwise I will be keeping them to break them in and make them my default brown boots this season.
One of the eyelets tore out of the shoe the first time lacing them up. Sad to return it because I love this shoe!
Very cute but I was disappointed in the quality. The zippers were difficult, didn't zip up & down smoothly. And, perhaps I didn't read closely when I ordered, but they are not leather! For the price they should be leather. The material & stitching were low quality. Made in China, so that says it all.
