DON'T BUY THESE SHOES! Yes, I know, these shoes look flippin' awesome, they are amazingly comfy, and the gel support is nice, but these shoes aren't durable at all. I skated in them for about 2 weeks, then they just totally destroyed themselves, the foam in the heel fell out and I was left with something that looked like a limp, purple pair of Converse.

These shoes are good for skating, but they blow out so fast! The grip is good for like 3 months, the toe thing rips open, and yea, you rip a golf ball sized hole in the sides. They're very comfortable though, easy to break in. And the shoelace guarders work, I've only ripped through like 2 sets of laces, and I've skated them for about 7 months now.

This is the first shoe that I\'ve bought online that was more than 30 dollars. I was doubting that they were going to fit, that I wasn\'t going to like them. But I was wrong.\r\n\r\nRight as I pulled them out of the box, everyone around me began to drool. The shoes look great, fit wonderfully, ride well, and I can\'t wait to start finding their sister pair.\r\n\r\nGood job!

These shoes were great for about a week, because it took nothing to break them in. Once i skated them for about a week they were trash. i had the shoes for just over two months and they now have a baseball sized hole in the bottom of the right shoe a golf ball sized hole on the the big toe of the right shoe and a bunch of little holes all over both shoes. I think all in all the shoe was about as tough as skating a with my bare feet rapped up in a tshirt

Too stiff -
I skate almost exclusively in Vans, but when I saw the Hewitt, I thought I would give them a try. I found the sole to be really stiff, compared to Vans. The rubber didn't grip as good either. I think they're a good shoe, but if you're used to a more flexible sole, these will feel a lot stiffer.
LOVE IT -
I ordered this shoe for my 14 year old son. He loves them. They are very comfortable, affordable and they look great. The touch of red on the shoe is subtle. If you are looking for a nice skate shoe that doesn't scream look at my feet...this is a great choice. Buying from Zappos is an excellent decision as well. There are plenty of great choices and no time is wasted going from mall store to mall store and then to local skate shops to find what you are looking for in hopes they have it in stock. We have always gotten our products the very next day after ordering and with free shipping!!!! Thanks Zappos!!!!

These shoes are absolutely amazing. I also love the purple plaid style, which is the one I bought. Hewitt's shoes are amazing and the best for some fatty tre flips.

Vox Hewitt... Great Shoe -
I bought the all black hewitt, with the white sole, and it looks sick! The shoe is extremely comfortable, it looks great, and it's a mid-top so it feels even better. The shipping was pretty fast, and I'm really enjoying this shoe, haven't skated in it yet, but I'm anxious to. Oh and buy at least half a size smaller, since it's vulcanized!

Nice look, rip easy -
Very nice skate shoe for street. I don’t do heights so much, so I don’t know ‘bout that, but otherwise, very sexy skating shoe… BUT ripped at the kickflip part of the shoe real bad. I’m not that intense of a skater and they ripped in 2 months. If you like paying this much for a 2 month shoe, then HIGH FIVE for this shoe!

These shoes are sweeeet. They look good, real comfortable. Weird to skate though took me a bit to work them in. Crazy grippy though once you get worked in. I got a major rippage in the front, but I skated these hard like almost every day, but yo, I definitely recommend these shoes bro!

Buy these shoes!
I bought the purple beer hunters and they are the best shoes I have skated in a long while. They are great for any style of skating, and the best feature is the midtop, cuz I have bad ankles and these helped that a lot. Pretty average wear, really depends how much u skate and if you have new grip :S Seeing as I don't, tops!

Great skating shoe, great value, moderate comfort.
Good looking shoe, great for riding, good ankle support though may be a little stiff which limits long term wear as a casual shoe. Absolutely love it on the board, that's when I wear 'em.

Hewitt shoe -
They’re great shoes, very comfortable after you wear them in a bit. The flap over the bottom lace loop works well, it’s nice not having to rock knotted-up ripped laces. All they need now is an air freshener in-sole.
