Perfect, I'm buying every color (well, nearly). Material is lightweight yet durable, fit for me is absolutely perfect. Not to be TMI, but I'm a long distance runner, so have medium/thick thighs and small butt, many pants I own (such as my Diesel Zathans) sag in the butt and are too tight in the thighs, but again, these are perfect.

I searched and purchased, and my 13 year old son tried on, many, many pairs of pants before discovering these. They are slim, but not skinny, with a very nice trim, youthful fit. He's 5'9 and 118 lbs. So boys' sizes are now too short, but man's often too roomy in the seat, waist and hips. These were just right! He wore them to the 8th grade promotion party (dressy casual/semi-formal)with a plaid Volcom shirt and black suede Vans. Great look!
Brands I'd also recommend: Quicksilver, Billabong, O'Neill

As a skater with legs and a waist thicker than the average male, it's always been tough to find pants I can skate in that fit nice, aren't too expensive, and still look nice enough for me to wear on a daily basis. I was wasting my money for a long time, trying to find a good pair but now that I found these, I've settled. They have a nice fit and they've got a good amount of colors. The material feels awesome as well.

These are nice, but a little baggy. If you're looking for a slightly slim fit chino, a great alternative is the Altamont Davis chino.
Brands I'd also recommend: RVCA, Billabong, OBEY, Quiksilver

Great fitting and good looking. I like the width of the legs although the length is longer than some of the other Volcom pants I have that are listed as all the same size. Great pants overall.

Great pants. Really nice small details like the asymmetric cut/stitch thingy on the butt. Also, there is a little Volcom label on the left calf. They are slim and fit like it. Low rise. No baggy crotch here. Getting one in every color. Also worked well with the John Varvatos chukka boot. Slim cut pants don't always work nicely with boots.

I like these pants, they are perfect looking and tight. One thing that made me a lil bit confused is a logo at the internal part of the leg but I removed it with ease and in general am satisfied with my purchase. Size is perfect.

These pants are great! My 14 year old son loves them in the 3 colors we got (lt. stone, khaki and gray.) Very stylish and extremely well made. They make us both happy - skater look so he will wear them everywhere, but dressy enough for church too.

Love these pants. I am a short guy. 28 waist, 28 length. 23 years old. I skated back in the day, though I sucked. The Volcom brand is nothing new to me. While I don't skate much anymore, I still need pants. I have such a problem finding a good pair of pants. I found these Volcom Chinos and figured I'd give them a try. Overall, I am very pleased with these pants. They are my favorite. I own several pairs. Heather blue, charcoal, navy, khaki, and black. I love them all. They go well with boat shoes, sandals, Pumas, Chuck Taylors, even my Clarks desert boot. They are good for work, or just casual wear. My wife told me she loved me one day, I said I love you too, and I love these pants. Thanks Volcom for making an awesome pair of chinos.

Got these for my boyfriend and was kind of concerned with the color but I took a chance. Love them! They are a dark brown. Almost black. They really look good on and go well with lots of things.

Nice pants, but long. I bought these for my boyfriend who is 6'2 and they are too long (he is all leg!) I believe there's only one inseam size? I got a 34 to 32. Still, he really likes them and might get other colors with the understanding he'll have to get them tailored. I think for the quality and price it is worth getting them hemmed. Also he is planning on wearing them to work. Younger boys might be OK with the baggier appearance of these being pretty long.
Brands I'd also recommend: Vans, Element
