I really like these shoes. I love the little bubbles on the inside of the shoes. I walk five miles a day and I love the way they feel. They are light and cool. They look sort of odd, but I am growing fond of them.

Take time to get used to wearing this barefoot shoe. I really like the way they look. I cannot wear sandals because I need an insert. These shoes work well with an insert. I wish they came in half sizes. They run a little big.

These shoes are kind of ridiculous. I thought they sounded good from the reviews. Ordered 2 different sizes just to make sure. They are more funny looking than they look in the photos. I usually wear a 41, so I ordered a 41 and a 42. The 42 came with a liner that I guess you are supposed to wear when it is cold and while you are getting used to them. The 41 didn't come with a liner. The 41 fit without the liner and would have been too small with a liner, and the 42 fit with the liner and was huge without it. Go figure. But either way they aren't comfortable. Too stiff even though they look flexible. They rub. They are cheaply made - the slider for the laces doesn't work. They have these weird hook things to fasten the liner in. The plastic on the heel goes up too high and rubs. Terrible little shoes. So sad. If you truly want barefoot shoes with good support and no rubbing, get Vibram FiveFingers.

I found that these shoes run just a little bit big. Even though I have wide feet, in the end, I ended up keeping a pair that is half a size smaller than other shoes/sandals that I normally wear barefoot. If it were not for the slightly bumpy footbed (it is really not that bumpy), you would not really notice that you are wearing shoes, but they offer plenty of protection for walking around the city. There is a slight noise that comes from my foot peeling away from the footbed every time that I take a step, but I do not really mind that. Many sandals make the same noise. They are definitely weird looking, but that is part of the appeal, I think.

My podiatrist told me I had to wear shoes when I go to water aerobics. I chose these because they are open and let air in. I have to remove them when I use the deep end because they cause unwanted resistance.
