This shoe is great. In fact, this is my 3rd pair of this style this year. The only suggestion I would make is if you sold the children's line of these shoes. As a trainer and gym owner, I recommend this shoe and brand to all clients, especially using Zappos because of customer service.

Solid shoe! Thanks to the large toe box and flexible sole it feels like my feet are free while still being water resistant and warmer than a Fivefinger, which were my main requirements. The sole is quite rugged and the upper is soft and stylin'. It feels like I'm wearing slippers or socks most of the time; I rarely think to take off the shoes indoors because they're so comfy! One complaint: The same looseness of fit that keep my feet free means that the sole does not have a snug fit around the ball of my foot. As I frequently do too much of a push off with my forefoot, these shoes are prone to slipping in wet weather.

Very nice minimal shoes--quite comfortable, sturdy, well-made. Very comfy to walk in, once you're used to minimal shoes. I've been running with Vibram Five Fingers for a couple of months, but the appearance of those shoes is too much for wearing around town. The Neos feel almost as good, and they pass for normal shoes.

Great shoe. I wear them everywhere. Work, trail running/hiking, etc. All of the benefits of a barefoot shoe without that dorky "glove on your foot" look! Super light and very well constructed. Ordered a size larger than normal at first because of manufacturer's suggestion, but was too big. I'd say go with your normal size first. Oh, and remove the insole.

These shoes are really comfortable. They feel about as natural on my feet as shoes can feel. I also tried the 5 fingers and I like these better. I ordered my size and they fit well, plenty of room in the toe box...although my wife found it hard to find the right size, the 37 was too small, and the 38 too big, which is why I'm only giving 4 stars. I will add that if these are your first barefoot style shoes, give your feet time to get used to them, only wear them a little each day and build up over time.

After a year of Nike Free (too much arch) and another year with the New Balance Minumus (I needed a tad more padding; 240lb runner), I wanted to see what other minimalist shoes were out there with a bit of a cushion. The Neo was listed on several boards as having cushion (it doesn't). They look Scandinavian, which can be stylish or ugly depending on the person. I think choices beyond black and grey, though, might be nice. My main complaint is the sizing. The Nike Free ran true to size (13 for me) while the New Balance required a larger shoe (14) because of the narrow toe box; otherwise it runs a tad long. I ordered the Neo because it came in a 14. Too short. When I looked at the European conversion on the tongue, it listed it as a 47. My size 14 New Balance was listed at 49. How could two size 14 shoes be two European sizes off? Considering that one review said they ran large, I was doubly surprised. The shoe seems nice enough, and I like the heel drop. They are lightweight, but none of the cushion I was looking for (the Nike Free are great in this regard; too bad about the arch).

Slightly thicker and stiffer soles than other Vivobarefoot models. and just a tad too large for me (US 10, EU 43 was too big). Wish they came in half-sizes. otherwise very nice.

These shoes are awesome. You feel everything! There is definitely a learning curve where you're feet have to adapt and get stronger. I coach CrossFit, and these shoe have taught me so much about proper ankle stability and foot stabilization. It is essential for moving large loads (weightlifting), gymnastics, and mono-structural (run, ride, row, double unders). I'm very impressed with this company and there principles. How do I apply for a pro deal?

I tried the shoes for about 2 weeks increasing my use gradually. While I am more accustomed to running with them I find the in-sole constantly sliding out of place. This is rather irratating. I wrote to the company and they offered to send replacement in-soles. I havn't been able to try them yet as I am out of town...but I'm not yet convinced the replacements would stay in place.

Lightweight, very stylish. Comfortable. But the removable insole in the right shoe will not stay in place. While running or even at a slow walk, the insole ends up skootching backwards until it's practically sticking up out the back! What's up with that? Going to see if I can return these, even though I've run in them several times. For a shoe that costs this much, the insole shouldn't be so flimsy.
