My new favorite of this fall season. It is generously sized, compared to the Lilly Chukka. The leather is so beautiful the craftsmanship is excellent!!! Very nice quality boot!

Absolutely love these boots. Extremely well made and comfortable, looks like they would last forever. Also, the blue color is gorgeous -- muted, velvety-looking. If you have a wide forefoot, high arch and narrow heel, these boots will fit beautifully. I ordered my regular size, 9.5, but alas, they run a bit large, and they are not available in a 9. So I must return. Would recommend ordering 1/2 size down.

My second review of this boot: I first ordered a 9.5, as stated in my other review, then returned and ordered the 9, which is still too large! So my advice to anyone who is ordering this boot is to order a full size smaller than your regular size in street shoes, and a half-size smaller than your regular boot size. These are incredibly nice boots. Hoping to find them here in an 8.5 one day. :) On another note: I can't express my gratitude to Zappos, since they have been unbelievably patient with all these returns. Honestly, I don't why they put up with me. (And a big thank you shout-out to Savannah who got the size 9 to me in less than 24 hours. Awesome.)

Love Zappos, as always your service is amazing! These boots are very well made and beautiful. Pretty comfy around the house, though I've yet to wear them out. The leather is durable yet softer than my Fryes. (I have the Melissa and Heath, and the leather is thicker and much stiffer. I prefer the leather on these boots.) The other reviewers commented this shoe is very roomy, especially compared to other Vintage styles. I can't imagine how narrow the other styles must be! I have wide-ish feet, though I usually wear normal width but I find Fryes narrow. These boots are just right. Definitely not overly roomy, but not tight either. Any more narrow, though, and I'd be in trouble. I'm wearing my usual size 6.5. Sometimes I wear a 7, but these seem pretty true to size. I really like that the shaft is taller than Frye's shortie boots, and they are roomy around the leg. My biggest concern is the color - I found they are true to the color in the Zappos pictures. I personally would prefer the whiskey tan, but these were such a great price, I was hoping I could try something new and the blue would work as a neutral. I think they would, and the style looks fantastic with jeans, but I'm not quite sold on the color yet. However, fit, style, and quality are great. If I keep these, I'll definitely have the shoe repair guy put on a rubber sole because, as always, leather soles are so slippery and the rubber soles provide protection.

One more comment I forgot to add to my review above. I keep comparing these to Fryes, but I think the comparison is unavoidable. Both my Fryes have no cushioning in the footbed. These actually have some cushioning and some arch support, and this does make a difference. I wouldn't say the cushioning is plush, but it's more than I expected and definitely increases the comfort level.

Alas, I wanted to love these boots but they're going back for two reasons: fits half size larger and color wasn't as expected. My true size is 9. I wear a 9 in Frye Boots (Veronica Slouch, Paige Tall). I tried on the Tallulahs with a medium weight sock and I had room in the toe box and my heel kept slipping while walking. I don't think thicker sock would've made a difference. The site photo of the boot shows a nice delicious whiskey hue while the pair I received was more of a dull taupe. The quality of the boot is great; quality leather, well-made. I ordered these boots based on the pictures, video and a sale price that could not go unnoticed. Unfortunately, this was not a fit despite the great price. They're going back.
