This is a gorgeous pair of boots. The leather is very good and the boot is stylish and classy. It looked terrific on my feet but I could not get the shaft over my 15-inch calf. Alas, I must return the boots. Please note: The circumference is given as 15 inches but fails to mention that the calf has a circumference of only 14 inches. After I ordered the boots from Zappos, I saw them at Nordstrom's website and the circumference of the calf was shown to be only 14 inches. Zappos should give calf measurements for all tall boots so that consumers can make the right decision about purchases.

A really beautiful boot! But alas, I have to return it because the shaft didn't fit my calf. I had spent hours on line researching boots and finally decided on these for their look and smaller shaft circumferance. I had measured my calf which is 14 inches and this boot's shaft circumferance is 14 inches. I had a really hard time getting them on even with the half zipper and I could barely get the shaft all the way up. I didn't take into account the thickness of jeans stuffed inside. I could have worn them with just tights or thin leggings but think I would get more use of them with jeans. I usually wear a 9M in a shoe but the reviews said these ran larger so I was glad I ordered them in an 8 1/2. They fit snug without being tight and would probably have stretched some had I kept them. A really beautiful, classy boot! I guess I'll have to start my search again!

Love these boots!! Bought the brown ones last year and had to have the black ones. I have skinny calves so they fit perfect the 7s were at first a bit snug but since they have stretched out a bit they are perfect...Jeans & skirts they look fabulous with both..Always getting compliments on my VC boots.

I've got tons of compliments on them. Very luxury leather. Narrow calf - perfect for skinny girls. Comfortable too. I walk in town in them all the time.

I love these boots! They're really nice, especially for the price. I have been careful and I have not noticed any problems with scuffing. I usually wear between an 8 1/2 and 9, and I ordered a 9 and they fit well. Definitely glad I purchased these.
