This was a Christmas gift for my husband. Quality of leather and craftsmanship is great. I bought it because of the padded shoulder pad. Other bags don't offer that. I would mostly recommend it if you travel with laptop a lot because it will fit a lot of additional things like phone, charger, notebooks, files. Just for a laptop for an everyday use it may be little too big.
Brands I'd also recommend: samsonite

This is a great briefcase and top quality leather and I'm still finding compartments and well thought out features. Good value for the money and comparable to the Tumi Alpha only with a bit more space and a lot cheaper. I'd definitely recommend this for the discerning customer who values quality and style.
