Nice bag, but it doesn't hold a 17" laptop. The tag on the bag says it fits up to a 15" laptop. Have to return it, since it's too small.

This was a gift for my daughter-in-law who works in Manhattan. She thought it was perfect. She has to take her laptop back and forth with her to work and this protects it nicely. It has a spot for an umbrella and a waterbottle. There's plenty of room for paperwork and for your Kindle or the book your reading on the commute. This was a great purchase.

I ordered this for my Macbook Pro 17 since the description states, holds up to a 17 inches laptop. Wish it did. It is an awesome bag. Put my 15 inches in it with no problems. But, I don't need a carrier for that one. Would love it to work, but will be returning this one and continue my search. Zappos is the best for product, customer service, and all their quick and free shipping.
Brands I'd also recommend: Ful, Timbuck2
