I ordered the boots for my daughter, who had worn out her previous pair. The fit and comfort level are exactly what she needed and was looking for.

Great shoes overall. They are truly waterproof and were comfy from the first day I put them on. My only complaint is that the leather roughs up rather easily...on the toe in particular. Otherwise great hiking, farming and exploring shoes.

These were rated high on the backpacker magazine site, and I would love to keep them. The sole cushioning is fantastic, and they fit well (with hiking socks, after I went up a half size). Unfortunately, I have arthritis below my big toes and after walking around the house for an hour the tops of my feet were hurting. I'll have to look for something with a wider toe-box. Except for this one issue, I think I could have stayed on my feet all day, and rated them 5 stars.

Wowzeeee, these are the best hiking boots I have ever owned! They fit perfectly, not bulky like most hiking boots, and make for a smooth ride even on pavement. I was hesitant because it was a steep price for me but worth every penny.

I purchase the boots because one of my travel sites said they were very light weight which is important when you are traveling. Also, Zappos carries larger sizes for women, so I was very happy with the sizing. The boot was not too wide which is what happens sometimes in the larger sizes.
I'd also recommend: All of Nike sneakers if you are looking for a 10 1/2 M
