The Vasque Breeze GTX hiking boot is an exceptional boot. The first time I wore them, I was hoofing it for 5 straight hours nonstop. At no time did my feet experience any pain whatsoever.

Been a Vasque fan for years. Put many miles on several pair here in the Blue Ridge. The Breeze GTX is the best I've owned. Comfortable right out of the box. Great foot and ankle support. And, like the name implies they are a Breeze of cooling comfort. Order 1/2 size up to accommodate the thickness of a hiking sock.

I have 3 pairs of the Vasque Breeze. I use these hiking boots to hike with a 30# pack up the the Finger Rock Trail, Ventana Canyon Trail, Esperero Canyon trail and West Fork trail in the Catalina Mountains. The trails are rugged, steep at times, and hard on boots and feet. Temperatures are usually 70-95 degrees. The shoes are comfortable and breath well. It features that are enjoyable when it gets to be 85+ degrees. Good arch and ankle support. No foot blisters if I wear the liner and right socks. Some cons are, these boots wear out quickly. The reason I have 3 pairs (one for each year) is because I needed the comfort and breathing qualities in the shoe. An all leather shoe would keep my feet extremely hot in the Arizona weather.

Great boots. Haven't used them yet, so I don't know how they will stand up or how waterproof they are. They are pretty comfortable and just a little stiff out of the box. They just need some wearing around the house to break them in. Great ankle support, much more than the Vasque Ranger GTX.

Bought these for my husband for our trip to Peru in the Fall. He has been breaking them in before the trip. They provide good support and are still comfortable after a long day of hiking.

I bought this boot for my summer hiking trip through Israel and Jordan. Since I was going to be in a hot desert climate hiking up to 10 miles per day through rocky, mountainous terrain, I needed a boot that breathed well, and these did not disappoint. The sole is stiff and rugged, and held up to the rocky terrain. They offer great ankle support too. I ordered 1\/2 size larger than I normally wear in order to have toe room in the front of the boot for hiking descent. I paired these with gel inserts and Smartwool hiking socks, and I did not suffer a single blister for the entire 2 1\/2 week trip. When considering hiking boots in the future, I will definitely look to Vasque as my first choice.

After buying and hiking in Vasque boots for 20 years and appreciating the quality and fit of the product, I was disappointed with the fit and poor quality of the current product. They are now manufactured in China which explains the problem. Do not buy these boots!!!!!! They are not what they used to be.

This is really an amazing boot. Super comfortable right out of the box, and very supportive. After only a (too) brief break-in period, these were great and blister free for a week hiking Kilimanjaro. First Vasque I have had - I just wish they were a little cooler looking.

I live in the woods and wear this style of boot every day. This is by far the best light hiker I have had in years. I always us Peterson's Superfeet rather than the supplied footbed.

Bought these for my husband who needed a "lighter weight" day-running-around boot. Comfy, great fit but very slick in the rain and does not hold up. After 2 weeks of wear they look like he's had 'em a year. Wouldn't buy again. In fact, am returning a second pair I bought for him. Customer service, you're great!

This was my 2nd pair of these. Most comfortable boots I've ever worn. This pair seemed a bit tight on my left toes but must have stretched out. I work on railroad and only wear them when rain is threatening. Sole of 1st pair seemed to wear out too quick but worth it for the comfort.

I'm 66 years old. Over the years, due to much walking and social dancing, I've developed a painful arthritic condition called Hallux Limitus in my big toe joint. My podiatrist advised me to wear shoes or boots with stiff soles and a slight rocker bottom to minimize movement in that joint. These boots allow me to walk pain free and are now the most comfortable footware that I own. I think they look great too. Not so good for dancing in however. :)
