This was a great shoe. I loved the way it fits. It was a perfect fit and I believe I couldn't have made a better choice than to buy these shoes. The colors of the shoe were great! Better than expected!

My son loves these shoes! And I love Zappos! The first pair I ordered was too big and he was very disappointed--I called customer service at 3:30pm to do an exchange, and expected the shoes to arrive 2 days later...we had them the very next day! Amazing! As for the shoes: his foot is a bit narrow, and these are perfect. They don't seem overly supportive, but they are fine for a child. He thinks they are very comfy--and very cool!

My 12 year old son ordered these shoes and has been wearing them nearly every day since. They hurt the back of his heel at first, but now it doesn't seem to bother him as much. They look less bulky in person than in the photo. They are a very lightweight shoe.

About Vans Kids
Vans started in Anaheim, CA in 1966 1966 Paul Van Doren and three partners opened the first store at 704 E. Broadway in Anaheim, Calif. on March 16. The Van Doren Rubber Company is unique in that it manufactures shoes and sells them directly to the public.
Early 70s - Skateboarders who like Vans’ rugged make-up and sticky sole are seen sporting Vans all over Southern California.
1976 - The Vans #95, now known as the Era, with a padded collar and different color combinations, is designed by Tony Alva and Stacy Peralta and becomes the shoe of choice for a generation of skateboarders
1979 - The Vans #44 is introduced and with the help of skateboarders and BMX riders, Vans Slip-ons become the rage in Southern California. By the end of the 70s, Vans has 70 stores in California and sells through dealers both nationally and internationally
1997 - Vans begins creating the world’s leading action sports series with the purchase of the Triple Crown of Surfing; by 2000 the Vans Triple Crown Series will include events in skateboarding, BMX, surfing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and freestyle motocross
Fun Facts/Trivia:
1982 - Vans Slip-ons gain international attention and appeal when they are worn by Sean Penn in the film Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
2000 - Vans finances the production of Dogtown and Z-Boys, Stacy Peralta’s look at the beginnings of skateboarding and the personalities that evolved the sport. The film takes the Audience Award and Best Director Award at the Sundance Film Festival. The film is narrated by Sean Penn.

Classic shoe, my 10 year old shoe addict loves them. They run a full size smaller. We did three purchases trying to get down to right size, but of course, Zappos rocks the house so it was not a big deal.

Great shoes! My kids have worn vans shoes for years and I feel that they run a little big, but I was prepared and ordered them accordingly. I ordered them at 6 in the evening and received them the next morning! I absolutely love Zappos!

Would not suggest this for active boys. My son had his for about 3 weeks and they already have a hole. They sizes run big. His size 13 was as big as his 13.5. Cute styles, but quality not so great.

I don't know what happened with this pair of shoes But the material separated from the top of the shoe in about 3 weeks of getting them. I buy Vans for both my boys and for some reason these fell apart.
