Great shoe for my almost 2 year old girl. I would advise that they do run on the big side. She fits perfectly in a size 6 in all her other shoes, but we had to wait for her to grow into these size 6 ones. Nonetheless, now that they fit they are just great!

I'd also recommend: Converse, adidas

Absolutely these run at leastone full size large. I bought them for two children and they both fit the same way -- very large. I bought a 9 1/2 for my kid who wears a 10 and they are at least a half size too large (she doesn't care, so I'll let her grow into them!). They are cute and the kids say they're comfy, so they're keepers!

I bought these for my three-year-old daughter to wear in her classroom. They are easy for her to put on and remove by herself, and provide decent support. I am a big Hello Kitty fan, so find these beyond cute. My son also wears Vans as an indoor shoe at school. Very convenient and not as pricey as real gym shoes. They do run quite big -- a good size or two above normal.

I'd also recommend: Crocs, Stride Ride, Tsukoshi, Geox, Jumping Jacks

First off I want to say customer service is amazing! I ordered the wrong size shoe returning them was no problem. Then reordered the right size my daughter loves them! Vans seem to run a 1/2 size smaller to other brands.

These shoes fit true to size and are comfortable enough to be worn daily without complaint. We find that Vans hold up well to the demands of our 2 year old. These have kept their color and shape well after playing in the dirt and traipsing all over town. Easy to put on and simple to take off. The glitter on the hearts does not come off when you touch it, which is also very important to us. They are a winner in our household.
