Bought these for my active son. He loves them for their comfort and ease. The laces are long, so we double tie them.

These are supposed to be a good brand for skating, within two weeks they (he wore them every time he skated) starting to tare apart. The only positive thing is it's a good looking shoe.

My 11 year old, 6th grade middle-schooler loves these shoes - they're actually his second pair as he outgrew the last size. He loves the color combination as it's "different" than most Vans. He wears these with gel heel inserts that you can get at the drugstore since there's not much padding in the footbed - with the inserts, he walks everywhere with them.

Love these shoes and so does my 5 year old. He's going to wear 'em for Xmas but he still needs to practice tying them. Love the Vans. They are quality shoes.

My 6-year-old son picked these out and they are even cooler in person. The blue stitching is very sharp. This is his 2nd pair of Vans. The first ones held up very well so I am expecting the same from these.
