My 14 year old daughter loves them however she had blisters for weeks until we put some padding in the back of the shoe. It is slanted, not straight.

These are super-comfortable and fit true to size (I am a size 10 women's, narrow feet). There is more toe room than Keds' version of these, so those with bigger toes will appreciate. I wore them right out of the box. They're a little stiff and slightly cut into the backs of my ankles, but I think that will go away with a few wears. I feel like I could wear them for hours walking around. They also look fantastic; I switched out the black laces for some silver ones to add more pizazz. My only complaint is - just like my other canvas shoes like Vans and Keds - they make your feet sorta sweaty after you've been wearing them for a while. Not much breath-ability. I definitely always wear them with socks, never bare feet.

I bought these for my daughter's 14th birthday. She asked for them specifically. She wasn't disappointed. A great looking shoe that goes with just about everything she wears. They're comfortable and sturdy. I think she will own these for quite awhile.

I really love these shoes. They're stylish enough to wear with a skirt but just as great for jeans and bumming around. I've actually done quite a bit of walking in them and, even right out of the box, they're pretty comfortable. I would recommend wearing socks, though. The material can be a bit rough. Vans makes slip-on socks that don't show at all.
