Classy, comfortable - alas I have found a closed toed shoe that looks great on and has a reasonable heel. I love them so much that I ordered another pair in black. I usually order a half size up in Vaneli.

Great looking shoe, but don't fit as well as other similar Vanelis I've bought and loved in the past. The elastic band across the top makes them looser and my feet slip out. I hope innersoles will help.

Very comfortable shoes straight out of the box. The high vamp makes the shoes appear to be boots when worn with dress pants (or jeans!). Beautiful shade of brown - tiny tinge of red to make them pop!

I buy wide shoes because I have a very low arch. These shoes turned out to be very comfortable and can easily accommodate socks and shoe inserts. The leather/fabric upper is soft and supple and the heel is wide and supportive. They look very nice with slacks. Because they are made of suede, I suppose they do not do well in snow or rain and the leather may scuff if not treated properly. Other than that, I would definitely recommend them and buy them again.

Beautiful show and true to size. I need a little roomier toe box due to a toe problem, but if you don't have foot problems, this should work fine for you. Nice sleek boot-like design. Wish I could have kept it.

I bought two pairs of Vaneli shoes at the same time: The Setter and the Valenty. The Setter was the wider of the two; however, I added a suede pad to compensate and that did the trick.

This is the perfect shoe for dress slacks or a work dress and opaque stockings. The stretchy band on the top does not look cheap or cheesy and makes for a very comfortable fit. I am an 8.5N in all other Vaneli shoes and this fits true to size. This is a delightful addition to my work shoe wardrobe.

Beautiful shoes! But sadly I will be returning them. They really hurt the sides and ball of my feet. I ordered a 9W since that was the widest the shoe comes, but they are still not wide enough (I usually wear a 9WW and can sometimes get away with a 9W). After finding so many fashionable and comfortable shoes on Zappos, I no longer feel compelled to keep a shoe just because it happens to be cute and I can squish my fat foot into it. I even forgot what it felt like to walk around in pain from ill fitting shoes, but these shoes were an instant reminder. I finally took them out of the box today and wore them for two hours around the office. Two hours too many. Very cute, but not wide enough or comfortable enough for my Flintstone feet.
