I ordered a 9.5 narrow and the ankle strap was too loose and couldn\'t be shortened further. The lining on the shoe was peeling off so it didn\'t appear to be a good quality shoe.

The fit is true to size, both length and width. Very comfortable shoe with just the right size heel to wear comfortably. Will look nice with sundresses or something more dressy.

These shoes lived up to the other reviews. Good fit and good for a party. Only negative: very little arch support if any. Can't find good shoes for that anymore! I would recommend these shoes.

Style and Comfort - I ordered these late Saturday evening and they arrived Monday morning. I ordered a 7WW and it fit beautifully. Without time to break in the shoes, I wore them to a wedding where I danced or mingled for 6 hours. Not one blister or pinched toe! Modesta is one of the best purchases I've made for shoes. One note: Heel height is listed at 2 1/2 inches but the actual height is 2 inches. I recommend this shoe to anyone with wide, hard to fit feet.

I recently purchased a pair of patent Vaneli Modesta shoes for an anniversary party I was to attend. I needed a shoe that was a wide width, but most importantly, I wanted a shoe with a leather sole, for dancing. If you've ever tried to dance in shoes with a rubber sole, you know that it is nearly impossible to do so. I also wanted a strappy shoe with a heel at least two inches. It was impossible to find anything like that in my town or the next. Most wide shoes look like work shoes. Zappos was recommended to me by my neighbor, and what a pleasant surprise! These shoes were comfortable from the minute I put them on, until I took them off five hours later. Customer service is A-1, and you cannot find that anywhere today! Delivery was the next day because I ordered before 1 pm. I love Zappos and have now purchased my third pair of heels from this great company. Thank you Zappos!

These are beautiful, comfortable shoes; they fit true to size and width. They are great for dancing, too; the heel height is perfect if you need to be on your feet or if you are dancing the night away! Zappos has the best service, too!

I ordered this shoe for a wedding I planned to attend; the silver or the gold would have gone well with my dress. At first I ordered the gold, but Zappos did not have it in stock, so I decided the silver could also work. The silver shoes came the next day (yea Zappos!) and they fit perfectly and were very comfortable. My husband and I were planning on joining in with the dancing at the wedding, so we were practicing our dance steps for several weeks before the wedding day. I wore these shoes whenever we practiced and my feet never were sore or tired. So in my opinion these are great dancing shoes besides being very pretty and flattering to legs and feet. I liked them so much, I ordered them in black patent. While I was ordering them in black patent, I saw that they were now available in my size in the gold, so I ordered both black and gold. That tells you how much I like these shoes. When I received the shoes, the gold ones fit perfectly (like the silver), but the straps on the black patent were not made correctly. The black straps were too short and misplaced around the toes compared to the silver and gold, so I had to return them. I would like to try to reorder another black pair sometime in the future. I highly recommend these shoes for going out and for dancing, they look great with day dress, evening dress, or even dressy jeans. A friend told me Vaneli is a good brand for people who have a narrow heel. I think that is true; I frequently have problems with the heel of a shoe being to wide, but not with Vaneli, they fit my feet very well.

I was surprised to see that this shoe really looks good on my daughter's foot. Some strappy metallic shoes can look cheap but the Modesta looks wonderful. It fits small so I'd order at least a half size up. The width is perfect so the B-width should fit a medium as it's supposed to. The bonus is the price because we usually wear Stuart Weitzman's or such. This shoe was bought for a wedding and my daughter finds it so comfortable that I think she'll be dancing as much as she wants!

My daughter wore these shoes for her friend\'s quinceanera. There was a lot of dancing & the shoes stayed on & her feet did not hurt. No problems with these shoes. They are cute!

Because these shoes are for my wedding, comfort was the most important thing I was looking for. These shoes are not only extremely comfortable (the heel is really low), but look great as well. I would definitely recommend these shoes to other brides!
