I was surprised at how comfortable this was for a dress shoe. I wore it to a wedding, and even with all the standing around and dancing that goes with an occasion like that, I was not kicking them off at the end of the night. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for style is that these low heels are not really high fashion at the moment. But for someone whose days of wearing very high heels are gone, they are perfect. By the way, they do have very slippery soles right out of the box. I scuffed my feel on our flagstone patio before setting out for the evening and didn't have any trouble with slipping around on rugs or polished floors.

I tried several pairs of wide dress shoes for my New Year's outfit, and these were the only pair that worked. Still, I'm sad that I can't find a shoe with any kind of arch support. Does the entire country have flat feet?

These are beautiful shoes. Dressier than I expected due to the shiny nature of the fabric. The toes are pointed and this made the toe box narrow and too tight for my foot. Sad that I have to return them. The light grey is a lovely color.
