The shoe is beautiful. I bought it to wear at my daughter's wedding, but it runs a little short, so I just ordered the next size. Hope it fits well! It's very difficult finding dress shoes with a 2" heel. Most of them are much higher.

These shoes were worn for a family wedding with guests from all over the globe. Thus, my outfit, incl. shoes, HAD to be perfect! I chose them to coordinate w/the color of my bronze (brown silk taffeta) dress. There aren't many shoes in that color that are also suitably "formal." Also, as I was to be on my feet for many hours (incl. delivering a wedding ceremony reading!), my footwear HAD to be comfortable. The previous night I had worn an older pair of 4" heels and had been in agony. But my feet actually felt good immediately upon slipping on these "new" shoes, with what I guess is about a 2" heel. In a word - perfect - elegant and ITALIAN(!), understated and comfy. I love them; and now, amazingly, I am looking for an excuse to wear this brown satin shoe at other than a formal wedding! A great find! Thank, Zappos, for making me cool AND comfortable! (AND at a great price!)

These are my wedding shoes! They're so comfortable and elegant. I placed water bottles in the heels to widen them slightly before the big day.

These shoes fit perfectly. When I first tried them on, I thought they might rub by big toe where the peep is. But I wore them for 10 straight hours for a wedding I was in, and had no discomfort whatsoever! They are very pretty when on, and I will definitely use them for other occasions now that the wedding is over.

Beautiful shoe! I ordered the pewter, and I love the color. Definitely pewter/dark gray. Very sophisticated. I love the detail on the vamp. Such a nice change from bows -- more modern and young. (I hate bows.) The heel height felt great. Not too tall, not too short. Unfortunately the shoe cut in to my left big toe painfully. I'd love to try a half size larger, but it's currently out of stock. Sadly I must return them and look for something else that fits.
