I love this sandal! Have searched, unsuccessfully the internet for a backup pair. Being a size 12 with a narrow heal is a problem, but with the ankle elastic, etc. everything works beautifully. If you can find a 12/black let me know!

Pros: Natural color blends well with many things. All the upper part of the shoe is very comfortable. The elastic straps have a texture that makes the shoe look dressed-up enough for me to wear to work. Cons: These shoes are a dirt magnet! I can't find a way to clean them. Also, heel has worn down quickly and parts of the fabric at the front are already scuffed off. Have only owned these 2 months, but it looks like 2 years of wear are on them. Sole feels a bit thin, not cushiony. They seem to run a little bit long, but true to width.
Brands I'd also recommend: Ditto by Vaneli, Merrell, Sesto Meucci, AK Anne Klein

These shoes are great! Comfortable from the start, partly because of the elasticity of the straps. They're really in style with the zipper in the back. They have a narrower fit, which works for my feet. I ordered one in each color! The price was lower than what I saw in the stores, too.

These shoes were cute but the zipper in the back on both shoes would not go down. I tried and several friends tried and it just would not go down.

Beautifully classic shoe, as Vanelli always presents to us. However, with this shoe I couldn't get the zipper down to put the shoe on. I will re-order the shoe and hope that the zipper might be looser on the next pair. . As for the rating below I'd say Overall it is a great shoe except for the problem with the zipper. So that's going to have to be a 4 for now; Comfort doesn't apply at all so I'll just leave it at a 5 since my other Vanelli's have always felt great; and for Style, definitely a 5,despite the problem with the zipper. Vanelli makes great shoes! Thanks Zappos! Deirdre A.
Brands I'd also recommend: There are too many to mention here but shop around on Zappos using the list of guidelines to narrow down your product type. I think you'll be very happy. And you can always exchange or return for free! So, I recommend the "Zappos Brand." Ha!

Purchased for a wedding in Duke Gardens. Lovely shoe but hard to walk in. If your feet swell, these are not the shoe for you. The zippers at the heel do not open so how do they make it easier to put on?
