Tired of the same brown or black every day school shoes? These shoes are perfect! They are red but dark enough to go with most of my daughter's outfits. Comfortable enough to be everyday shoes, and pretty darn cute! This was my first purchase of Umi Kids. I do not know how they hold up throughout the year since we have only had them for one month. But so far, we love them!
Brands I'd also recommend: Bjorn

I both these shoes for my daughter, and she likes them a lot. They are for school, so they give a bit of fear to school uniform, and they are very comfortable. We are gonna buy size bigger when she grows out of these ones. Price was excellent too. Thanks Zappos again for great product and fast delivery.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are comfortable, lightweight, flexible, good support and even cuter in person. The colors look deeper, more like a mahogany and garnet, and materials are obviously high quality which did not convey in the photo to me. I ordered a couple of styles as back to school shoes and this was the first my rising first grader tried on. She was smitten from the beginning. I had to twist her arm to even get her to try the others, but everything paled in comparison. She loves how girly they are without being pink, although she still loves pink clothes and surprisingly, she is fine with the red in this pair. I dig the sort of old world appearance with the stitching and beading, that dresses it up a touch and adds just enough flair without being over the top flashy. These shoes seems to lean more narrow than wide, probably because the toebox is not quite as rounded as some other styles that we have looked at. This also makes it appear a little more grownup I think, which again, my daughter loves. Service from Zappos was superb. These are definitely recommend.

Adorable. My daughter hasn't worn them yet since they were a little big (my mistake I think). I'm keeping them in hopes they will fit in a few months.
