I bought this shoe because the other sandals my son had were more synthetic and I wanted something made with leather. I thought this one was better quality, it's a very cute sandal and doesn't make his feet sweat but it irritates his feet in the back and in the front hook-and-loop top strap part a little bit.

Highly disappointed in these shoes. Loved the style and have gotten umi before. Within 2 weeks of my daughter wearing these, the edges of the rubber sole around the top started to fall apart, I was so upset. I liked these so much a got two pairs one for now and one the next size up. I'm sending those back.

These are great for my 4 year old - he can easily put them on by himself. They are snug and comfortable, where he can run and jump and they stay securely on his foot. Love this shoe!

I cannot believe how fast Zappos got my order to me! I placed the order yesterday and today it is here. That is amazing. I have to return these sandals though because although Umi is very well made and I like them they come up too high in the back of the heel and they just do not fit my daughter correctly. I have run into this before with Umis on her feet. She says it is not comfortable.

I bought this for my daughter. She normally wears size 13½ but these were not too big on her. She loves them and they did not require any breaking in at all. I love Umi shoes because they are very well made, comfortable and of good quality.

This shoe is adorable. It runs very big, so buy it at least 1/2 size down. I put a trimmed shoe liner in it so it would stay on, but truely appreciate that there is a strap on it.

My four year old daughter loves these shoes. They're sylish and comfortable. She's very proud that she can put them on and buckle them herself.

These seemed like the perfect shoe for my 3.5-year-old. They were a great blend of functionality for running and climbing, but with a fancy touch. But my daughter's heels were falling off the back of the shoe. This also meant there was too much room in front of the toes. The heel strap simply wasn't placed well on the shoe. If the strap were placed forward on the shoe just a bit more, these shoes would have been perfect. But we had to send them back. Tried two different sizes but they did not work for us.

In terms of U.S sizes, the size 3 (35) was more like a U.S 2.5 and measured more like my daughter's Primigi and Lelli Kelly shoes that are both sized 34. The shoe was sturdy and well constructed with a flexible sole and great tread on the bottom. The biggest problem is that the lettering and design inside the shoe was scratchy and uncomfortable on my daughter's foot. It was sad because the shoe fit perfectly since it adjusted in 3 places and was so cute but it was so irritating to her skin that it had to go back. We love Umi as a brand, not sure what made them decide to make the lettering and design raised and scratchy like that.

These run huge. As usual with growing kids, it's hard to pinpoint my daughter's size. She's barely fitting into her size 2 sneaker so we read the reviews here and ordered a 3, thinking a little spare room was ok. Also, I believe the sizing chart indicates she'd be a 4 based on foot measurement. The 3 turned out to be a full inch beyond her toe. The sandal is really adorable, a vibrant pink and green. I had to talk my very disappointed daughter into passing them up for the school dance so that we could reorder the correct size. We'll try the 2 and hopefully it won't take her until next summer to fit properly. Great shoe otherwise and, again, great service from Zappos for those of us who are impatient and disorganized!

Very pleased with these shoes. My daughter thinks they are very comfortable (she has worn them several times now). The white toe area had gotten pretty dirty, but did come clean fairly well with a little Clorox gel and damp paper towel. Overall very happy with the shoes. Matches most everything and not just a plain sneaker!

My 5 1/2 year old loves these. They are fashionable, sturdy AND stay on her feet- a perfect alternative to ballet flats. Definitely order a 1/2 size down.

This is a really lovely classic girls sandal shoe. Unfortunately my daughter's feet look like they are swimming in this particular style. They are quite wide (my daughter has an average width foot not skinny) & the front section is quite high. They fasten well around the ankle so the shoe looked secure but they just looked too big even though the length was correct. I'm going to try a different style by Umi and see if they work as I was happy with the quality. If you have a child with a wide foot, I think this sandal would be worth a try.

My daughter is difficult to please when it comes to shoes and she loves these so much that I ordered both color ways. Comfortable and stylish and run true to size and on the narrow side - perfect for my daughter's long narrow feet.

These shoes run small. My daughter is wearing a 3.5 and she ended up in a size 2 with this shoe. Looks great, she loves wearing it.

My 10 year old loves these. I think they are a little large for her but she will grow into them by summer I hope. They are well made.

Great play shoe. This is our second pair...the first looked great until my daughter outgrew them.

I only buy UMIs for my kids, so I'm quite familiar with the brand and love it for its quality, style and comfort. However, this particular sandal does seem to be half a size larger than it should be. I don't think it's worth exchanging it, she'll eventually grown into it, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

These are exactly as they appear online. The have padding at the heal so they are comfortable to walk in, my kids warm them in hot, humid weather the first time and there was no rubbing. They do seem to run a bit big but we stuck with them so I can't say if a smaller size would have been too small. No complaints of any discomfort. Highly recommend for style and comfort.

Cute shoes but ran HUGE on my daughter. They were super wide her feet swam on them. I had her feet measured at the mall last weekend so I know the size should have been right. Otherwise they were cute and looked like they were well made. This is the second style of UMI sandals I tried and both were very wide and large.
