Lightweight, holds it all from phone to keys to Gu's and anything in between. Doesn't move around, so no chafing during your run, hike, or even a day at the amusement park!

This is a must have pack. It's got every option you can think of if you are hitting the trail for an hour to an entire day even over night. My first use was a 26 mile trail run in the Smoky Mountains. I carried a 1.5 liter bladder, both bottles full in the front, iPhone 5, NF rain jacket, micro filter and collapsable bottle, 6 energy bars, and 8 gels. I still had plenty of room for more gear, including a headlamp or even an ENO. There is room for trekking pools, and even heavier jackets that can attach with the elastic draw strings. Fitting does take a little bit of time, but once you dial it in, the pack feels very balanced, snug like a full vest, and surprisingly comfortable and light. Once you start drinking from the front bottles, the slushing sound can bother some runners. I probably should have played around with the pack a little more to figure out placement of gear on the exterior. I couldn't figure out where to secure the bladder hose nozzle. There is a hole for the hose, and a secure sew in to get it to the front, but finding a place to lock it in was missing. I decided to secure the sip nozzle through the bottle cap loop. That worked out just fine. There are so many options you have to just continue to play around to find your best fit and placement of gear. One big negative that may be an issue, reaching for the side pockets was impossible for me with the pack on. The side pockets are just too far back to reach, causing me to remove the pack whenever I needed to grab some food or get my phone to take a picture. If you are really flexible, maybe you can reach it. In the videos on their site it looks doable, but just not for me. Got a ton of compliments on the pack from hikers who really liked the front load bottle carriers.

The belt is way too long. It looks sturdy (but not too heavy) and good for running/hiking, but too thick to keep under your clothes for traveling.

Overall it is comfortable and well-designed. It barely fits my iPhone 6 plus (I cannot zip it shut completely when my phone is inside) but it holds my phone securely and I do not feel like it will fall out when I run.

Fabric is nice. Bottle is durable. Can be difficult to squeeze out water when the bottle is nearing empty. The bottle caves in which is a negative as well.

The pack itself is fine, but the water bottle is awful. Getting the top to "pop" out is not nearly as easy as the video says, so the whole time I couldn't figure out if I was pulling too hard and I might break it. Eventually I figured out how much force I needed to put on it to get it out, but the opening itself is really hard to get a good flow from. There's no gasket between the plastic bottle and the plastic top, which meant there was water sloshing out of the bottle during my runs. I eventually gave up trying to fix the bottle. The design of the pack is nice, it's easy to get the bottle in and out, otherwise, without a different bottle, it's pretty much useless.

This was pretty useless. I bought it to use for running, because I carry a smart phone (Google Nexus 5) and iPod nano. I couldn't even fit my phone in it.

Awesome! This "fanny pack" is the perfect size for my essentials - iPhone, lipgloss, keys, and ID/debit card. I wore it to a music festival so that I could be hands-free without worrying about my stuff, but it would be great for running, too. I like that it's a bit smaller and more compact than other hip packs I looked at online.

I have used the UD SJ vest for races ranging from marathon to 100 mile, and train with it on a consistent basis. It is extremely lightweight, however, heavy duty at the same time. I have never chafed with it; it hugs right up to your body, and is very adjustable in size. I have used it for a self-supported 12 hour run, and was able to pack a water filter, jacket, 3000 calories of food, phone, and salt tabs with plenty of room to spare. Still, the vest never bounced of chafed. I would highly recommend it to anybody; I think it will be a great addition to your adventure stories and racing success.

A note if you want to carry a smart phone in this: yes, the fabric breathes, but it also puts a thick layer of moisture on the phone's screen if you sweat at all (in Florida, that is most of the time). It also is much more violent green than it looks in the photo...lightweight and it works, but not a great pack for me.

Finally something made for a women, not just a color change. It actually comes with a hair tie. I have broken so many hair ties on my runs. I know it doesn't sound like a major innovation but it looks like this company cares about women. I fit more than I thought in the little pouch. Just enough water for an hour run.

I have run with other systems like this as well as handhelds. This is the most techincal looking, feeling and useful system for an hour to hour half run. The bottle slips in and out well but never "pops" out. I also have enjoyed the bottle that it comes with, the mouth piece is very comfortable and doesn't splash on me. LOVE IT!

This belt is good. It's pockets are big enough for an iPhone 5 and a small card wallet. It is low-profile and doesn't flap when running. My only complaint is that the belt tends to ride up over time. I end up folding the elastic band from my shorts over the top of the belt to keep it in place. I think if there was a little more elastic to the belt webbing, it would stay put.

I ran my first marathon with this pack. It carried my smartphone and MP3 player in the side pocket and a cliff bar and my keys in the back pocket. I removed the water bottles for the race since there was water available along the route. The whole system is modular in that you can add additional side bottles or pockets for added convenience. I did not notice the belt during the marathon. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Perfect for running. Holds my phone, and enough room for power bar and keys. Not too bulky. Perfect amount of water. Very comfortable and stays in place.

I've used Ultimate Directions bottles for over 5 years, and they are my all-time favorites - light, easy to use and no taste of any kind. I ordered two or these and two of the smaller ones from Zappos. The lids on the 26 oz bottles were cracked when I got them, but I called and got replacements right away! I mean the next day! I did, however, ask for the smaller ones, since the lids are the same. Thanks, Zappos!

Exactly what I was looking for. It's simple, light/small/long & narrow/inconspicuous (if I chose to, I can hide it under my shirt), cute/feminine/stylish, and gets the job done. I'm a minimalist when running or working out, and this has just enough room to fit my house and car keys, credit card & driver's license (my "wallet"), and smartphone + earbuds (to listen to music while running). The material is also very good quality; it feels nice and it's sturdy enough to last a long time. It's comfortable to wear on the waist, too. I was surprised that it came with a complimentary hair tie inside, and despite how small it is, there's a small divider to organize the few belongings you could fit in there! Totally satisfied with it.

I enjoy running when it's over 90 degrees in the summer and I've owned several hydration packs over the years. This is the best looking and functional vest ever! It's so well thought out. Carries all I need and more if I need it to. Light weight. Ultimate Direction is the best thing going in hydration right now. Keep it up.

Great product, good for my long runs of 10-16 km's. Fit's great, but I wish it would have came with 26oz bottle. Great product. 4 stars overall just because of the small bottle.

I was looking for a water bottle to take with me on trail runs and to carry my specific nutrition during marathons and half ironman races. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase as it feels secure in your hand, does not spill, and holds plenty of pills and/or snacks.

Wow! I am really impressed with this! I alternate hiking, running, and climbing around on rocks during a 5+ miles daily outing on a State Park River area. I was concerned about how much weight this would add because holding an iPhone (use as stopwatch & camera) often seemed like too much (and it's not heavy!). This is perfect! Short outing but needed hydration. When I'm climbing around on rocks and need my hands I slide the Handy 10 to my wrist. Doesn't cause any problems nor does it get in my way. It also ergonomically fits my left hand if I want to switch. Fantastic product!
