I was so looking forward to getting these boots. Once they arrived I tried them on immediately and they were too tight/small and my heel felt as if they would slide out of the shoe. I was surprised because I have several boots from Ugg. My suggestion is to size up if you decide to by these.
Brands I'd also recommend: frye

I had a similar experience of feeling like my heel was slipping but after walking around in the store for an hour, the shoe broke in nicely (the initial tight pinching across the widest part of my foot subsided) and I found them totally comfy. I bought them! Only concern is that it is a high heel and this is a shoe I was hoping to wear mostly standing (ie, soccer fields, bbqs, etc, vs in and out of the car, sit stand sit).
Brands I'd also recommend: belle by sigerson morrison, coclico, birkenstock

Love these boots. They are very comfortable, given the heel height (I do a lot of walking and standing for long periods of time at work). I have a pair of La Canadienne boots with crepe sole and same heel height and they are not nearly as comfy. I do not have problems as the previous reviewers did with heel slippage, which is odd because I have duck feet: small heel, wide forefoot. I felt some snugness around the forefoot, but the shoe did "break-in," and now they are super comfy. UGG did a great job with this boot.

I have these boots in black and absolutely love them! Very comfortable and warm, look great with skinny jeans or jeggings. They run true to size, I wear size 6 (my foot is 9 inches long) and size 6 of them fits perfect.

Cute boot, but I felt like I was walking on concrete, the insole was so hard and thin. The shearling was very slippery inside. My feet are getting very picky. Regretfully I had to send them back.
