These boots are so comfortable and warm -- and the look is great! I love the braid trim. Made the mistake of wearing them in front of my 14 year old granddaughter and now she wants them. This style is good for all ages and they are perfect to wear in cold weather.

Best Uggs ever! I got my first pair of this exact style (Sundance) in black in 2003 and wore them most winter days through 7 seasons (heavy winter climate) until they literally wore out. Always got compliments on them, as they are more striking than the plain Uggs style. Incredibly warm, comfy, entirely lined with very plush sheep wool...easy to pull on even with heavy jeans. They run wide , so if you have a narrow foot you might want a half size smaller (They are great with heavy socks!). Inner sole can be removed and washed. Only drawbacks: the suede color tends to fade, and it stains badly from salt (try gently cleaning it with a bit of vinegar on a paper towel). This style (and few others) have synthetic suede reinforcement on the toe and heel, which helps a lot, plus a much ruggeder soul than the standard Ugg boot. They are terrific in snow but not so good in rain or mushy weather; they are sheepskin, not rubber or vinyl, and they will leak eventually. If you walk through very sloppy slush or rain, you'll need something else. They are great in plain snow; very warm! I'm delighted they brought this embroidered style back after an absence of several years! I got chestnut this time; I love it, but the color is more apt to stain than the black. Though expensive, you can count on years of use with a little care. These have outlasted every other type of snow boot I have ever owned (in the tough, snowy Midwest).

I first ordered the short classic uggs and found that my feet started to ache after walking my dog. Even with casual wear they would ache later in the day, so I got the inserts. That was a bit helpful but I found I was on the lookout for something a little better than this. I read a review here that said these felt better made than the classics and are they ever. They don't have the rounded toe, but they are SO nice and comfortable. Don't even need an insert. I wear them all day with a pair of thin Smart Wool socks, and my feet don't ache at all. These really are like wearing a cozy pair of slippers. Have decided against getting anymore pairs of the classics and am thinking of ordering the chestnut ones now. Love, love, love these. I wear a size 9.5,medium width... ordered the 9 and it's the right size.

Husband bought these for me as an early Christmas gift. They are super warm and comfy, my only gripe is that when walking in them, the back digs into my heel ever so slightly (reason for the 4 stars, not 5). I'm guessing I just have to break them in. However, these are soft on my feet and very well cushioned. I really like that these shoes have the braided trim and love the style of this shoe the most from the view from the back. It is not as plain as most Uggs. Kudos to Zappos for carrying them and for the prompt service and getting them to me. Love Zappos!!

I'm a size 12 shoe woman in my 60's and really enjoy the comfort of these boots. I wear them around home, shopping, etc. They keep my toes and legs so cozy. I recommend them to everyone!

I love the way these look! I had a 5 year old pair of the Ultimate Tall Braid Ugg boot, which I loved but after all that time they were starting to look a bit shabby. I got these boots as a gift in my usual size 8. Beware: if you have a sizable calf, the boot is snug unless you roll it down. I like to wear these without rolling them down, because I love the braided look and don't like the blatant sheepskin cuff. I'm hoping after I wear them a few times it will stretch out a bit. Still comfy but could be looser.

Warm, comfy and cozy. Wear an 8 in a shoe and ordered down a size to a 7, and they fit perfectly. Ordered in the Chestnut, a beautiful rich brown. I am very happy with my choice. You can't go wrong with this Ugg.

Fantastic boots, the most rugged and well-made Uggs I own. Usually I buy classics but I wanted a reinforced toe. I got these on sale at Zappos for $50 off. I followed the advice of the some of the reviews to order your true size. I wear a 10.5 in woman's shoes, but size-9 classic Uggs have always fit perfectly. I ordered a 10 in the Sundances. Bad move. Loose with a slipping heel. I called Zappos to ask about exchanging them for a 9, even though it had been two months and I no longer had the original box. They informed me that the boots had been further reduced by more money and credited my account, and sent me the 9s within one business day, with instructions to send back in the 10s in the 9s box. Can I say how much I love Zappos customer service?
