I wear a 3E and these were too narrow. Additionally, these are better suited to those with a lower instep. On the positives, the shoes are very light!
These are GREAT boots to go horseback riding with!! They really kept my feet warm during my cold winter rides (minus degree) and are extremely comfy to ride in. I didn't get these boots specifically for this purpose... but I thought I would mention it for my other fellow equestrians.
I had these boots before. I reordered them as I needed a new pair. They are not the same quality and materials as before. They will still do the job but not a cool looking, more rubber shoe rather than leather.
Fit nice and snug. They weren't too tight and not too big. The shaft want huge and fit nicely around my calves.
Please listen to the reviewers when they say these run small. I wear 7½ and they were very tight. Order a half size up. But they are super cute and I love the style.
Expensive but worth it. I have cold feet and these are just what I need to keep them snug. The arch support is much better than the fabric I had been wearing. I wear 8.5 and ordered an 8 based on the sizing recommendations to order smaller. I wore them for two weeks and they did not stretch. Exchanged them for 9 which are comfortable.
Loves me some Uggs. I don't care if they're ugly. They're beautiful to me, like someone you've known a long time and you know they're beautiful inside even if everyone else just sees 'homely'. They are wonderfully comfortable even with a total lack of arch support. They are easy to get on/off in a hurry, like when your new puppy says he needs to go out NOW at three AM. They really do keep the temperature just right and your feet don't sweat and the boots don't get stinky. Nature's miracle! Try them on. You will not be able to say they are not comfy and posh. When you buy them SIZE DOWN. Don't care what these people say who said they did that and it was too tight and they went back to their 'street' size and la-la-la, everything is wonderful now. What happened is they didn't know that they stretch and quite a bit. Think about it. There is no solid structure to the Ugg except the sole. It's just sheep pelts stitched together with no framework to hold it tight. So when you stick your feet in there and start moving around they WILL stretch. So those people who bought their regular size were comfortable and snug AT FIRST. Notice how the ones you see who came back to UPDATE us usually said they wouldn't do that again. Because in two months you'll be wearing clown shoes! If you order the next size down, though...yeah it's tight now. But in the same two months YOU will have a boot the perfect size. Frankly they are too expensive to only get two months before they are too big for you. I'd rather discomfort at first followed by years of perfection. So if you are an 8, order a 7. If you are 6& 1/2 like me, order 6, or possibly even five depending on how narrow/small boned your foot is. My oldest current pair I ordered here in 2012. Still going strong. Get the care kit because hey, they are suede. Like anything suede, they will waterspot and stain if untreated. I did this and my oldest pair is stained, but they're also one shade removed from stark white. My sand and chestnut and other, darker colors look swell. Get 'em! PS: although I will probably still order from Zappos in future, my latest order took five days to get to me, with no natural disasters to impede the mail. What???!? No lightning fast service for me, it seems. Bummed about that, but still love UGG Australia!
I have been lusting over these shoes since they came out and finally hopped on them when they were on sale and I had a credit. If you do not like the moon boot look of the Classics, the Slims are for you. They are noticeably slimmer in both the bottom and the shaft, to the point where if you have big calves, move on. The arch support is minor but it is there and the slight heel lift looks cute. It is a much much more grownup look than the Classics. The slim sexy fit comes at the price of some of the comfort that makes the moon boots of old great. There is not nearly as much fluff on the inside, so that walking-on-a-cloud feeling is not the same. Boo! But I do not count any stars off because how else would you get the boot to be slimmer? If you want all the fluffy wool you are going to have to get Classics. I got gray and it is okay. I am returning, even though I love Ugg. I thought that I was ordering the color primer yet gray is what I actually ordered. Plus I think I need a half size smaller. The Slims come in half sizes where the Classics do not, and normally I order a 6 in Classics. I thought based on the reviews I could order my real size of 6½, but putting the shoes on, I feel like they will still stretch, like the originals do. It is still just pelt, after all, with no framework, so the movement of walking is going to loosen it over time. And frankly these are too expensive to wind up in six months with a clown shoe I cannot return because I have been hoofing them all over town. Please bear that in mind ordering. I hear is many people sending Uggs back because they are too tight and getting their real size and thinking that they are golden. Yeah, you are fine now. In a few weeks you are going to be sliding around in them. Remember there is no structural support other than the sole, so you get a little stretching and the wool inside will flatten down soon and leave more room as well. Buy them! If you want Uggs but you do not like the clodhopper look of the others, get them! You give up a little bit of plush comfort but not so much as to be a deal breaker. I would buy again, maybe next time in the middle height, the Amie.
These are wonderful. comfortable and warm! I absolutely love these Uggs and the fact that they have a little bit of platform makes them so super comfortable!
Great shoes especially for those looking for little or no arch support. Most shoes have too much arch support for people with flat feet. These are great! First pair of Ugg shoes and probably a lifetime customer now until they ruin them with arch support. They look good too, especially scuffed up!
