These boots are absolutely beautiful, but were not a good fit for me. I've been trying unsuccessfully to find a boot to fit my long thin legs and small calves (13.5"-14" calf, and I'm 5'9"). I was hopeful because the Ugg Australia website said that they had a 14" calf circumference, but in actuality it was much larger in my size (9.5). Unfortunately I'm returning these boots, because they just weren't what I was looking for. For someone a little bit shorter and with larger calves, I'm sure they'll look incredible. I don't recommend sizing up or down, these fit very true to size in the foot. Very comfortable foot bed, and overall a very attractive design. I'm disappointed that I have to return these boots.

I was thrilled when I got these because they are gorgeous and they didn't swim on my extremely thin (I'm talking toothpicks) legs. That being said, the thrill didn't last long because within five minutes I knew there was no way I could keep these...the leather is, as other reviewers have said, very stiff and uncomfortable and I knew right away they were going to hurt me. My feet are very thin and bony...just don't have any padding in my feet...it's very difficult for me to find comfortable shoes. I was very disappointed because I own several other Uggs styles and this is the first pair ever that have not been comfortable. Boo.

This is a beautiful boot. I initially bought a gorgeous pair of Stuart Weitzman boots for twice the price and then decided I couldn't justify the cost due to other expenses. For the record, those were more comfortable. That being said, this is a comfy boot with sheepskin lining on the foot bed (which was unexpected but makes for a cushy feel). The site says to go up a 1/2 size but I found these to be a little roomy for a 7. In heels I am usually between a 6.5-7, and rarely go up a size in boots, if that helps you with sizing at all. I'm keeping the 7 instead of sizing down because I live in Minnesota and anticipate wearing a thick sock with these. The leather is gorgeous (darker than the photo, which makes them look kind of reddish) and kind of stiff. I think they break in beautifully over time. Lastly, I would advise spraying them and making sure to wipe the salt off when you get home if you wear them outside in crappy weather (which I will be doing). The price is not cheap and this seem like they will last forever if you take care of them. Highly recommend this boot. This is great for people with shorter legs because the shaft is under 15" and so doesn't hit at the back of the knee like most tall boots.
I'd also recommend: Clarks, Stuart Weitzman, Chloe, Aquatalia

I've had these boots for about two weeks now....and I have been pleased. I bought the black in a size 8.5; and I think they fit true to size. I would have liked them better if the entire boot were leather lined....almost all of it is except for the top of the foot. Not sure why that part is lined in fabric, as I think they would be a touch more comfortable if that part were leather. The rubber sole makes me wonder how they will hold up against leather soles, but I believe that the heel is actually stacked wood with a leather midsole, so I'm optimistic. In terms of comfort, I have been wearing them around, with no long walks yet. So far, I think they're great...and I am somewhat prone to blisters in new shoes, or even broken-in shoes I haven't worn in a while. The fleece sockliner is AWESOME, and makes me want to leave them on even when I get into the house. Others have complained about stiff leather or trouble getting them on or off...and I have experienced no problems with this. I have slim-but-muscular calves, and these boots fit loose enough to fit jeans that are not quite jeggings (i.e. J. Crew matchstick jeans), but not so loose that they don't look great with leggings or tights. Exactly the fit I was looking for. My boyfriend thinks they are super sexy, and I think they are comfortable...which seems like a great boot to me!

These boots are great! I usually wear a size 8½, so an 8 in the classic Uggs and Cardy styles. After reading the reviews I decided to order up and I am glad that I did. The 9 has some room but truly needed to get the boots on and off. They are so comfortable especially with the soft classic Ugg sherpa lining. I prefer to wear a thin pair of socks with them still, but really you do not have to. I like the size of these, they are not too tall for my 5'4" height and they are wide enough for my larger calves so I am able to wear them with my skinny jeans and feel comfortable! The chestnut color is great and looks nice enough to really dress up with a dress or down with jeans! I was hesitant to order these without trying them on, but I can honestly say my boot search is over and I could not be happier!

I have this boot in black. I wear a size 6 in the classic surfer Ugg boots so I wasn't sure what size to get in a boot with structure. I bounce around between a 6.5 and a 7 so I got a 6.5. They fit, but only with trouser socks, not cotton or wool socks. So that's fine. But I agree with previous posts. The leather is very stiff, the boots are hard to get on, and the boot shaft is small. It probably gets bigger as you size up, but beware anyone with small feet and muscular legs because you'll probably be disappointed.
I'd also recommend: Frye, see by chloe, dolce vita, michael kors
