Aesthetically, this is an excellent shoe. Unfortunately, my pair all but fell apart after only a month of light use (wearing them to work). The stitching where the suede meets the canvas by the laces totally split to the point where I can see my socks. It's a shame, because these were otherwise excellent shoes in every respect.

These shoes are great! Shortly after receiving them I walked about 2 miles in them and they were extremely comfortable - no rubbing and feet felt fine. They look great with shorts and with pants. I will be getting another pair of Type Z's, especially for the price.

I wear size 11 Nike, so bought size 11 karls and they were too big. Then I bought size 10.5, too big. Lastly I bought size 10's. Too big and too wide so I just said screw it and sent them back. Zappos you are amazing for dealing with my terrible size choices.

Nice style, though the inner soles are already wearing a bit after only a month or so. Also, the leather somehow already ripped on the side. I guess I was careless, but it seems a bit weak.
Brands I'd also recommend: Sperry
