I typically wear a size 10 and ordered a MD blue dress in hopes it would look as good as it does on the model. I am 5'6 and about 150 lbs. and am not straight like the model; I have actual normal sized hips. The dress fit fine and the blue is just like the picture, but the pleats with the tie waist made me look like I had huge hips. So, if you have any curves at all, I recommend not getting this dress as it is not flattering on an average-sized figure.
