These heels are super high and place the ankle in a position that is not for the novice heel wearer. This is a sharp shoe in a classic shape, very nice heel, very nice look and fit. True to size, if you want to wear an insole then order .5 size up. These shoes are great for vegans or those who chose to not wear animal skin.

Extremely sexy but also extremely high. Of course that is what makes them sexy! This is the only shoe I could find without a platform that has a true 5 inch heel. My motto is "the higher the better" but that isn't going to be true for everyone.

This shoe isn't cute enough to be this uncomfortable. I can spend ten hours a day walking in 4 or even 5 inch stilettos without a platform if they are cute enough because they make me feel cute and put an extra bounce in my step. I bought these because I needed high heeled brown shoes to replace another functional pair. These are too narrow and short in the toe/front portion, there is no cushioning in the ball of the foot. The height of the heel causes the foot to slide forward as would be expected, but the shoe in no way compensates properly; there is an awkward height to how high the back of the shoe covers. There is extra room in the back of the shoe and it rubs up too high on the ankle. A miserable over-all experience, with no cute details to make it worthwhile. Normally I'd put in inserts but my toes need all the room they can get!
