These sandals are super cute, but I should have heeded the warnings of other reviewers: they fit at least a full size larger than they are marked. My five year old daughter loved them; until she tried them on. They were way too big. I ordered down a size, to a 10, which she wore last summer. I was hopeful until those arrived and she still complained they were too wide and just did not feel right. My daughter's feet are not slender at all, so beware! That said, they are very cute and appear to be well made. Too bad we have to send back both pairs.

If I'd written this 2 days ago I would have had nothing bad to say. They are cute, not bulky, and my 3 year old could easily put them on by himself. However, after 6.5 months of heavy use the small suede loop that holds the metal loop that holds the bottom velcro strap wore through and broke, leaving that strap waving in the wind. Guess I can't complain, we got all the use out of it we needed!

Ordered these for a three year old. They are a good fit and seem comfortable for him. The soles seem a little plasticy or something? I think they will be a bit more water resistant that way, but I wish they were maybe more leather/suede-ish. Overall a good fit and comfortable. They will definitely last us through the summer in addition to sneakers and water shoes.

I bought this brand, because my daughter has very narrow feet. I had one twig before, that was perfect. This one is very wide. Even if you take the thicker sole, that is suppose to reduce the with to size M. you are still wide. Also i had to cut away the foam under the thicker sole, because there was no room to the top for her toes... She still flips out with her food, even when i close the strips to a minimum.

These are cute, but the flowers on the top are hard plastic. After 5 days of wear, my 3 year old broke the flower, leaving a sharp plastic part and making them unwearable. I am going to try to get Zappos to take them back.

I purchased these cute sneakers; they run a little big, they get dirty really, really quick which, to me, isn't an issue--nothing a wipe doesn't fix. I don't feel they’re worth the money. They should be a tad bit cheaper overall. They’re okay but I wouldn't purchase again at this price. Sorry, it’s just what I think but I hope others who purchase them enjoy them overall. Hope this helps. :)

We got these for our daughter as a comfortable, warm alternative to gym shoes for non-PE days. She would rather wear them than anything else since they look stylish with both pants and skirts. They give enough to allow for thicker socks in the winter. Plus, it turns out that the rubber sole makes them acceptable for PE-wear, too. So, we have to convince her to wear her other shoes. These are great boots! (I wish Twig had an adult shoe line!)

These fit very comfortably. They have leather lining and a cute design. They look much better in person then in the picture. They are worth the money.

Very cute shoe but hurt my daughter's foot. There is a sharp corner under the strap that dug into her foot. I'm disappointed that we must return them. I really like them otherwise.

This is a very cute shoe. It looks well made. It didn't work for my daughter because it hurt her feet the minute she put it on. There's a raw or sharp corner of leather underneath the strap where it attaches to the shoe. It immediately dug into her foot when she put it on. This is disappointing because I like it otherwise. It's too bad that corner isn't rounded or padded. They will be returned.

These are super sweet and cute. They fit my sweet cute kid's fat feet pretty well. They are a smidge tight across the top of the toe, but she really does have wide feet. It is too bad more sweet cute shoes do not run in wide sizes. Sill these shoes are sturdy, comfortable for her to wear at school all day, and did I mention that they are adorable?

These shoes fit very large - perhaps even more than a size bigger. There is almost no difference between a 12.5 and a 13. If you want a 12.5 you might be better ordering an eleven.

These shoes are very cute, but unfortunately they are huge. The sizes are too large to begin with, then they stretch while being used. The velcro does not let you make them smaller because of the way they are cut. We returned one for a smaller pair and after using them have packed them away for a long while until they fit.

I didn't like the fact that they did not have an exact size, so that worried me. The shoes were slightly big however, my daughter loved the classic styling and color combo (grape and red), so I decided to keep them. Lastly, It is a well made shoe and goes great with school uniforms and any casual outfit.

Very cute shoe...but I bought these for my daughter to wear to school with her uniform so she wears them often. One of the flowers fell off within two weeks of getting them. Also, and this is kind of strange, but as they have worn the brown is giving way to pink! My daughter thinks this is cool, but I am less impressed by it. They are fine, but not great.

Sturdy, durable, and easy on and off. Bought them once, and when he grew out of them I bought the same ones again b/c we loved them so much. Due to versatile style he only needs this one pair of shoes that goes with any/all outfits

Purchase was for my 6 year old grandson. He loves the shoes. Wears them all the time. True to size and very well made. Also very good looking.

This shoe was a perfect match for our daughter. She loved them. Nice details, also in the sole. Perfect for school and dress up. Between a half and full size bigger than her actual size, but that is fine.

From what I can tell, these look like very well made shoes. These have "hook and loop" velcro closures. I did notice that one of the "loops" was very difficult to pull through the "hook" to tighten the strap. These might be better designed if the loop was separated into two straps, with separate velcro closures. My son keeps them at school and only wears them there, so I have not seem him in them. I haven't heard any complaints from him, and when I ask how he likes them, he says they are "good". He's 5 1/2 and I bought him size US 1.5-2. He usually wears a size 1 or 2 depending on the shoe (he is probably measuring closer to a US!). These seem like they have plenty of growing room for him. I like the rubber lug soles. They seem like they would be great on the playground too. I needed a shoe that would be easy for my son to put on and take off by himself at school and these seem to work. The styling is super!

These shoes are cute - adorable even - but the tongue is very soft and so it slips down, bunches up and sticks out completely outside of the velcro strap that is supposed to hold it in place. This makes for an unsupportive shoe that feels annoying and slips off. Also, my 2 year old pulled the fabric out of the metal grommet easily. It would be better if the fabric were more securely tucked and fastened in that grommet. Sadly, we only use these shoes for stroller walks or car rides. She can't run in them.
