My son has worn Kamik kids for the past few years. This year is foot is measuring Wide. I was very surprised because he is 8½ and an average size child all over. Anyway, he measured a 3W and I ordered a 4W, thinking that would be adequate (since these boots run small). We had to return the 4W and the 5W is perfect. So, I advise you go up two sizes, tough to do, but its true. The quality and comfort of the boot is great, comparable to Kamik.
Brands I'd also recommend: Kamik, Sorel

These are an excellent pair of boots. I am from the far north, and I insist on the kids going outside to play all winter long. Easy on, easy off. Very warm, very rugged. My son requires a wide to double wide. These fit great (I bought them a bit big to be sure they would fit all season). He insisted on wearing them into the warm season because he loved them so much. Can't wait to buy them for next winter!

These are great! Very warm, easy to run around and my son was the only kids NOT slipping after a recent icing. I passed on info to numerous parents about these boots.

These boots are great. They look really good, they kept my sons feet warm and dry while we were in the snow and cold. He is 5 and can easily put them on himself. I highly recommend, love them.

These boots are great. My son has wider feet and we had problems finding him boots that fit. These have a lot of ways to adjust with velcro and straps so it is easy for him to get into them but also to cinch them down so they fit properly

This is my second year purchasing these boots for our son. They hold up well, are warm and comfortable (for his wide feet) and look really cute. They work well with his pants tucked in. I would definitely recommend them.

Cool looking boots. Easy for my 3 and 1/2 year old to get on and off. He seems comfortable in them. He's been wearing them every day even though we haven't gotten any snow so far this winter. The deep treads on the bottom look like they will serve him well when the snow finally arrives.

Purchased 2 pairs & both kids like them - boy age 6 & girl age 7. Easy to get on & off! Keep their feet warm & dry. Ordered a size larger then what they wear now, so they can wear next winter too. Don't seem clunky on their feet.

Bought these for my 7 year old grandson and 5 year old granddaughter (in pink). they both loved them, never complained their feet were cold in the snow. Wore them to the slopes, sledding, in deep powder, and snow ball fights. Had to fight with his sister to make her take them off to come in the cabin. He wanted to wear them in the car all the way home (3.5 hours). Soft and cozy.

We have had Land's End boots two years in a row and were not happy with them last year. They are stiff and difficult to get on and off. They also wore out quickly. These boots have worked out great so far. We have not had any significant snow fall yet but my five year old son can put them on by himself and has no complaints about comfort. He has been wearing them despite no snow. They close tight at the top and should keep out snow and ice. They appear to be rugged enough to endure his wear and tear all winter. Most importantly, he thinks they look cool!

These are great boots for wide feet. We got my 17 month old these for his very wide feet. They fit well and were easy on/off; they kept him warm and dry!

I really love this boots. My son feet little wide and this boots great for my son. It make my son's feet warm and dry. It can stay on the snow and ice. I had this first boots when my son 3.5 years old (size 9) and this 2 boots this years 4.5 years old (size 11). He can put this boots without sock and his feet stay very warm. It's easy to put his feet in and out by himself. I really recommend this boots.
