I brought this boots because I have a wide calf and they were 100% waterproof (haven't test this out yet). I order a 1/2 size larger then I wear. I like them and they are comfortable (not that dressy) and cute (the price was great too). I these are a keeper!

I am very happy with these boots. I find them comfortable and very warm. I think they look great. I can wear them with jeans and I'd be comfortable wearing them with something dressy. The fit is a bit off: I consulted with customer service who advised that they do run a half size small. However, because they aren't available in half sizes, I had to order a whole size larger. That is a bit too much. But I like them so well -- and you can't beat the price -- so I preferred to keep than rather than return them and try another.

I recommend these for someone who wants a lowkey warm boot that falls below the calf. These did not provide adequate support for my needs. I think they are great value for $45. While I will be returning this pair, would consider buying this brand again. I probably would have kept these if the shaft was a few inches higher, and slipped in my orthotics.

I don't agree that the opening was unusually small. The top of the boot was wide enough (approx 7") for me to get my foot through and also tuck my pants into. They run very large in fit. The toe box is very roomy and seemed much more square than in the photos. Could be a good option for people with wide feet or bunions. Cute and made of high quality leather.

I will be returning these boots. Very nice, but I can't fit my foot into the unusually small opening. :(
