My daughter has loved the velcro version of this shoe, but since she's getting older, I really wanted her to have shoe laces. They are perfect.

These shoes are fantastic! Lightweight and perfect for everyday school wear! They are very true to size and you do not need to size up. They include growing room in the size they have marked!

My granddaughter says these are the nicest sneakers she has had. She wears sandals most of the summer, so she's 'saving' the sneakers for later in the season (also to give her foot time to grow a little). She didn't want to send them back so figured she'd wait for her foot to grow a little!!

We love Tsukihoshi shoes. We generally can get a year or more out of them before our daughter grows out of them. We haven't worn out of them yet unlike some other brands. The removable insole makes it easy to shake out sand from the playground. The shoe withstands a good washing in the wash machine. We air dry them. They are stylish and comfortable (so I'm told). We also like that they receive the APMA's seal of acceptance. They might be more expensive than some shoes but I have confidence that a shoe with the APMA seal is the right thing for her little growing foot.

Awesome, indestructible shoe. We buy a new pair each season just for sizing change and not because they are best up. I'm so impressed. They are fairly wide but that works for us. Sizing seems otherwise as expected.
