This is our third pair of Tsukihoshi kids shoes for our son. They are light, flexible, vegetarian and they wear really well. They were his only pair of shoes for about 8 months and the only issue with wear and tear is some loose threads that hung off that I trimmed with scissors. The stitching was not coming undone, just maybe frayed or something. I have kept all of the pairs so far and will use as play or secondary shoes for baby #2 as they have all worn incredibly well. I just bought our fourth and fifth pairs because I couldn\'t decide between two cute styles.

This is our second pair of these shoes for our child. He loved them so much over the last school year we purchased another pair for this school year. Excellent fit, easy entry and binding. Machine washable. However, as already stated, when ordering, order a half size larger in this style. In some other Tsukihoshi styles, you may need to order a full size larger.

This is my 4th or 5th pair of this brand. They are light weight, easy to take on and off and they run wide, which is great for my kids' wide feet. I like the black because they don't show as much dirt!

I love these shoes. I love the brand! They are so comfortable and practical, my kids love them. And especially it's great that I can wash them in the washer multiple times. Very easy to put on; my son can do all by himself! This is my 4th pair of these shoes and I will definitely buy them again!

These are very high quality shoes -
My kids love them, too. Easy to put on and take off. I like the anti bacterial lining and hope that this might keep the feet healthier for these boys who are always getting dirty.

I bought both my grandsons these shoes and they love them. They say they are fun to wear and easy to get on and off. The boys are seven and four, so they are rough and tumble kids. Haven't needed to wash them yet so we can’t say anything about that. But both of the boys love them so that's what counts.

Greatest shoe ever!
For the price, this shoe is 1000000% the best shoe I have ever bought for my son! Super light, great support, like a second skin! Great look, can be machine washed and the support, again, is terrific!

Best shoe ever!!! We have been in search of flexible shoes for our 3 year old and also something easy for us and him to be able to put on and take off. THESE ARE THEM! I purchased the black and the blue ones. I returned the blue but feel I should have kept them. These shoes my son loves. Great design and great shoes. Recommend these to anyone looking for great flexible shoes. Might be pricey but well worth it.

Great shoe, my son says it is really comfortable, no blisters or sore spots from day 1. This shoe is easy to get on and it also looks "really cool" according to my 6 year old son. Zappos is the BEST!

Well, it took 3 tries to order the right shoe/size for my 5-yr-old dtr and Zappos just kept right on returning/reshipping during a FREE shipping promo with incredible speed and ease. When this shoe arrived, I knew we had found perfection! It's wide, but not too wide for my dtr's narrow feet. It opens wide for easy on/off. It's very light/flexible and so comfortable she just wants to leave them on. They are super cool looking for boys or girls AND they are machine washable! Buy these!

Excellent!
I ordered these shoes (exactly this pair) for my 2 year 7 months daughter, before going to Las Vegas in February 2008. Man, we had a great time in Vegas - thanks to this incredible footwear. My kid refused to sit in the stroller and wanted to be just like adults - meaning walking by foot A LOT, literally the whole day. Tsukihoshi made it possible. The best shoe she’s ever worn. Highly recommended.

Amazing shoes, great for wider feet -
These shoes are great, especially for wide feet like my son has. I think most kids' shoes go overboard with arch support. The best way to develop their balance is with minimal padding.

I'm so torn...
I can't say enough good about these shoes, except for one thing--they aren't lasting for my kids. Both my boys have these shoes; my older son wears a different style, but same brand. My younger son has this exact pair shown here. The first problem that shows up is little threads start to pop up all around the toe area--let me just say this is our fourth pair of Tsukihoshi’s and this has happened every single time. Anyway, this thread problem makes them look ratty very quickly, so you have to trim those little threads frequently. In addition, where the strap meets the strap ring, the fabric is so frayed; it's all but torn completely. Next, the inner heel on my older son's shoes--he has two pair exactly alike--is rubbed down to the padding-type material on both pairs. But here's the real kicker...I checked our order form and we have only had these shoes since January '08!!!! Now in May '08, these are the issues we're facing. Having said all that, we LOVE these shoes and I have ordered another pair, different style, this very evening. Why? Well, they're the ONLY shoe that runs wide enough for my son's foot, that's lightweight enough, and that's flexible enough! I just wish the manufacturer of this shoe would realize there are problems with the materials used. I am hoping the style I ordered this time lasts a bit longer. Another positive, both my boys get compliments constantly about how cool their shoes are! Everyone wants to know what kind they are, where we got them, etc. It was really hard ordering another pair of these, but I felt like I didn't have a choice because of the width issue, the weight issue, and the flexibility issue we face. Maybe this next pair will be the ticket! I'll be sure to review them.
