This shoe was not only a bit long, but rubbed my heel. It's also too wide in the heel. I sigh for the days when one could buy a "combination last" with a wide front and a narrow heel. If I ever find a company that supplies that, I'm theirs for life.

I really like these shoes. I can wear them for several hours before my bunions start to hurt, which is longer than with most shoes. They are stylish, and can be worn with jeans or dressy pants, and even skirts - though probably with tights due to the open areas where the straps are.

I was so excited when I first put these shoes on. They were so comfortable. Did not slip on my narrow heels and allowed enough room in the toe box for the bunion on my right foot. The last test that I do is sit with the shoes on for at least half an hour. I have arthritis on the top of my right foot. Within twenty minutes my foot was throbbing, caused by the horizontal strap. I am so disappointed.

I bought these for a senior friend that needed a stable, comfortable, but stylish shoe. She loves them! High quality, true to size, good leather. They are refined, not clunky.

I love the pewter pair I have. They are attractive and fit perfectly and are therefore one of my newer favorites. I wear AAs. I am ordering another color.
